Poured from the can into a pint glass.
A - Clear amber-gold color with a finger-and-a-half head. Leaves lacing, but it disappears. Fizzy head.
S - Corn malt, grassiness, sugar, alcohol.
T - Corn malt, grass, sugar, alcohol, can metal.
M - Crisp but icy (no pun intended), it almost seems like it would crunch a bit if you could chew it, like slush. Kinda bitter aftertaste.
O - Like pretty much every "ice" beer, it just can't stand up to the regular version it sprang from. The colder the better, to match the ice in the game you're watching that inspired you to buy it.

A - Clear golden with a two finger frothy white head. Leaves no lacing.
S - Perfect amounts of rice adjunct, creamed corn, pale malt, aluminum.
T - Loads of rice up front, creamed corn middle, pale malt and rice finish. Well balanced for an adjunct, and I'm happy that it lacks any corn adjunct flavors. Tasty for the style.
M - Light crisp body with medium carbonation.
O - Overall, probably the best AAL that I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, easy drinking and very sessionable. Even my summer shandy loving girlfriend liked it so that's a bonus!

12oz can to bell jar to drain.
A: Mild Golden Straw Hue, Passes All Light, White Head, Some Lacing
S: Corn, Barley
T: Corn, Water
M: Average Carbonation, Light Bodied, Watery
Overall, corn water, need I say more...It really tastes like watered down corn in a glass.

It's 90°F in the house right now (a great morning temperature to start off the day indoors--can't wait for today's high! [sarcasm]. It's sad, because it's so hot two of my four cats are panting their furry little asses off and breathing rapidly, but there's nothing I can do... and it's only going to get hotter.
Well, broke as I am, I bought two 24-ounce cans of Molson Ice. Unless I was screwing around, there's no way I would be getting either of these beers if I had extra money to spend. I have had it before, and in fact I always confuse Molson Ice and Labatt Ice. This is partially the reason I'm writing this review... as a personal reminder to NOT accidentally pick this one up again! I don't remember what the Labatt Ice tastes like right now, but I'm pretty sure it was the better one of the two. Either way, back to this beer.
Appearance: Pours a very weak, unattractive looking pale yellow. Somewhat lively carbonation with a big white head that, as expected, recedes to a thin ring, but surprisingly leaves some lacing. I think I'll give it a few points for the decent lacing at least, but otherwise... the appearance itself is too typical (white head on straw body) and the color of the liquid beer itself is too pale. The carbonation quickly fizzles away, and the beer is crystal-clear.
Smell: Honestly, I don't know how to describe this. Man-made chemically sweetness? It's just not good, though not quite as in-your-face as...
Taste: Yep, it keeps going downhill. This beer tastes like... well, synthetic chemically sweetness. Completely unnatural. Similar artifical aftertaste that seems to linger. So sweet and synthetic tasting, in fact, that it's hard to drink... it's downright nasty, especially as it warms a bit. I guess it's good as a cheap alcohol delivery system, but warning: do NOT drink it on a hot, 90-degree day! Unless you are prepared to drink out of a frozen mug or chug straight from the can, as this beer warms, it gets absolutely disgusting with this artificial taste. There are far better beers to drink on hot, humid days. This one doesn't even come close; there is no refreshment to something that tastes like sweet chemically shit.
Mouthfeel: Just barely fuller than water. Seriously, do yourself a favor and just get yourself a nice cold glass of water. I'm no fan of water, but at least it's drinkable.
Overall: No good as a beer for hot weather. No good if you don't drink fast and allow it to warm up in *any* weather. This beer really doesn't have any redeeming qualities. Even its lacing that is surprising for the style cannot save it. By the way, as the lacing dries, it also looks pretty weak.
Do yourself a favor and just skip this beer. I will from now on. I'm *pretty* sure now that Labatt Ice is the better ice beer of the two, from what I remember after retrying this. Soon enough though, I will be giving Labatt Ice another shot, and maybe post a review of it... for completeness reasons.

Poured into a pils glass. 24 oz can. Ice beer at 5.6%. Hopefully I function after such a hefty ABV.
3.5 A: Clear pale yellow color. Three fingers of frothy white head. Retention is very good and a decent amount of lacing is left. Not bad here.
2.0 S: Dry graininess with corny sweetness.
1.5 T: Fairly tasteless with the only discernable taste being corn.
2.0 M: Light body. Carbonation is a bit high, but reasonable for the style. Something like chewy, but not quite, and no creaminess.
1.5 D: This is bad by AAL standards. Don't know how I'm gonna finish this.

As CANada prepares to face off against Slovakia tonight, I CAN prepare by opening a CAN of Molson Ice and I promise not to drink it at center ice while smoking a cigar or drinking champagne, either. Oh, those crazy CANadian women!
I certainly got a nice big two fingers' worth of head off of the pour! It looked like a puffy pillow laying atop the golden yellow beer with NE-quality clarity. The nose was not good, evincing a metallic tang along with cereal adjuncts and a light lager sweetness. Oof. Mouthfeel was on the thin side with a light sweetness on the tongue. I just feel like I am trapped on a treadmill at times. I could cut and paste many of my previous reviews of AmeriCAN Adjunct Lagers and only feel the slightest pangs of guilt. Regardless, it was pretty weak in terms of flavor and that same buyer's remorse continued well into the finish. This was really boring! So far, Molson Golden has been the winner in the family.

Ah Molson! Growing up in Michigan it was all Canadian Lagers all the time.
24 ounce can from local grocery store. Clean pale yellow pour. It tastes like it always has: mellow, hoppy (to some degree) and smooth. You can definitely put these back if you feel so inclined.

Poured from a 24 oz. can. Has a pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some malts. Taste is also mild, some malts and corn. Not a whole lot of flavor here. Feels light in the mouth and has decent drinkability. Overall not terrible, but nothing special here.

From the 24 fl. oz. can marked SEP2408-03337L. Sampled on August 25, 2009. The pour is a pretty clear straw yellow with a good inch or more of foamy, bubbly white head. The aroma is a bit of corn, some hops, and some malts but for an ice beer the alcohol scent is diminished. The mouthfeel is heavier than water with reasonable texture and staying power on the tongue. The flavor comes across as malty and bready with a tinge of sweetness. Better than I expected.

The beer pours a pale gold color with a towering white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is average. It has a dry, pilsner malt and adjunct scent along with little to no hop aroma. The taste is average as well. It has a clean pilsner malt and adjunct taste with a super dry finish. It's easy drinking, but lacking any real character. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is your standard "ice" brewed lager. It's crisp and clean and devoid of any real beer taste.

Pours a fizzy yellow beer, bright golden clear body with large fizzy white head dwindles quickly leaving fine bubbled sparse lacing. Aroma has cooked veggies with light cereal notes no actual hop components going on here. Flavor is pretty weak watery, cooked veggies metallic waves of grain. Pretty rediculous flavored American corn and rice ridden product. Mouthfeel is fizzy and light watery bodied, even from an ice beer. Not the worst canned beer, that would be Carling Black Label. Completely unremarkable brew from America's oldest brewery.

Poured from a 12oz. can into a pint glass.
The color is a clear yellow with a slight white head with no lacing.
The smell is a bit of a stinky, grainy flavor. Some malt flavor.
The taste is slightly sweet but not very strong in flavor. On the plus side the flavor to this beer is anything but abrasive and is easy to drink even for the inexperienced palette.
This beer has a light body with light carbonation to it. It's pretty easy drinking like most Canadian beers. It is a bit crisp and clean tasting.

Bought this as I was leaving NY at a gas station 24oz can for $1.49 couldn't pass it up for the sake of science.
A - Poured a clear yellow with a big white head that actually leaves lacing behind
S - Not so good stinky grainy malt
T - Not too bad some slightly sweet malt not much else comes out
M - This beer has a light body with light carbonation to it
D - Its been a long time since I've had my last Molson Ice and for some reason its easier to drink now than it was back then its not a bad beer to drink after shoveling the driveway or watching hockey.

Presentation: It was poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a light golden color with very good clarity and lots of carbonation. The head builds up tall and foamy and it is just off white in color. It fades nearly as fast as it forms leaving behind little to lace.
Smell: The aroma is simple and clean with a mild cereal grain character.
Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor is similar to Molson Canadian but a little stronger. The favor is somewhat sweet with a cereal grain malty body offset by a light grassy hop presence. It finish quickly and cleanly, a little bit dry, with some of the light hops bitterness. The texture is smooth but with good carbonation and a medium body.
Notes: Overall I would say that this is one of the cleaner crisper Ice beers that I have had.

Molson Ice is a very clear, very sparkling, pale golden lager with a large foamy white head with nice retention and lacing. Lemon and corn are in the aroma, along with a touch of light, sweet malt and alcohol. It's pretty light bodied, but sturdy and smooth. The finish is dry, crisp and papery. It's pretty sweet and corny tasting. There is a hint of pretzely malt and alcohol in the flavor. It's not bad for a macro. It's just on the cusp of being inoffensive.

Pours a clear pale yellow golden color. Has a nice white head that stays around a laces a bit. Smells sweet, a bit sour, or metallic. Taste is very crisp with a carbonation bite. Watery and some pale hops for flavor. Mouthfeel is decent, it goes down easy and I wouldn't mind having another.

Poured from a 24 ounce can into a tumbler glass.
Appearance: Pale yellow with a white head. When the carbonation subsided it looked like apple juice.
Smell: Lite aroma of pale malts. No noticable hops at all.
Taste: The taste is a combination of malts, corn and a slight metallic taste.
This is a very poor excuse for a beer. Even when compared to other American macro lagers it's subpar.

Had this up in Canada, where it is 8.3% if my notes are correct. Pours a flat gold color which is seethru and the big, frothy head dies quickly. A semi-metallic smell coupled with grainy hops and no malts passes for the smell. While it is sharp and there is a slight alcohol burn, it goes down mostly smooth with some veggie and sweet malts taste combo, albeit ever so tastey (and by that I mean it rarely tastes good). I wouldn't mind having the Canadian version one more time since a couple can buzz you; other than that avoid.

A: Poured a crystal clear macro-gold with a ½ finger fizzy sudsy white head that left a sparse layering. Visible carbonation was very light.
S: almost non existent and very faint with at best, light buttered grains. Nothing to smell here move along.
T: sweet buttered corn with a light dry hay and herbal hopping. A light sour grassiness is found on the finish while the overall flavor was unimpressive to say the least. Not much to go on here as well.
M: light, watery, typical macro with a light fizziness around the tongues edges while leaving a dry grassy fade.
D: Drinkability, no thanks. Not very good or likely will re-visit. Avoid and don't bother.

A- Straw colored with a light white head
S- very little smell what I can detect is mostly grains and a bit of yeast
T- General macro lager taste of light grains and a strong lack of significant hop or malt presence.
M- Thin and highly carbonated
D- Its your general macro here. Not a whole lot of taste or character. I however can say there are a lot of worse macro ice beers out there.

Color is golden yellow with a nice head that fades quick though. Aroma is decent and malty for a macro lager. Taste is much of the same except that there's some bitterness and a bit of a bite in the back of the throat. Goes down smooth though with some adjunct taste, possibly corn. Inoffensive, strong and not too bad for a macro lager. I would give it a fair rating much like I gave Molson Canadian.

Poured out of a 24oz can that I picked up for the train ride home. The color was slightly toasted straw, clear, with a decent white head that dissipated into a slight cap that left some soapy lacing. The smell is just terrible, total adjuncts, cooked veggies, gross. The taste is more bland than the smell, which is a good thing in this case. It has an artifical sweetness to it, no malt or hops to be identified. The mouthfeel is watery, poor. The beer goes down easy but doesn't taste like anything. Not something I would look to buy.
