Picked up a six pack of this and my first impression was that I'd save the rest for when friends stopped by. About a month later I decided to give it another try and man what a difference. Don't know if the first bottle I opened was bad or what but this is now one of my favorite beers.

It pours a cloudy copper color with a good head and good lacing. The aroma will knock your socks off. Huge piney nose intermingled with grapefruit. The pine is really prevalent with the first sip and finishes with a great citrusy sweet mouthwatering bite. Very dry but extremely refreshing. I found it on tap last week and couldn't put it down. I could have drank this stuff all night. I'm just glad I gave this beer a second chance.

This was the IPA flavor I was looking for when I tried Hop Czar (also from Bridgeport) out of their Beervarna mixed pack. Great nose and upfront citrus hop flavor. A very fresh flavor throughout the whole bottle which was very refreshing. This was a very West Coast IPA with more citrus than Floral/Earthy hops.

I would buy this one again and would like to try it on draft to since I was very impressed at how well it stood up in bottled form.
