Poured from a bottle into a goblet at about 45 degrees (F), this little known IPA (little known to me) left a very little bit of lacy head at the top, and it poured a nice golden orange color. Thick and juicy is how this beer appears w/ some yeast sediment at the bottom floating around in there.

First, as I smell it the northwestern hops jumps out at me. Under the flowery hop smell, i can get the smell of some pine and also some grapefruit.

Upon first sip, the hops definitely jumps out, to which the grapefruit that I noticed comes out as well. IT almost leaves a sweet taste, almost like pouring sugar on grapefruit, however the hops are prominent here. This is a nice crisp beer that is pretty light in body but has great aftertaste that hangs on for a bit. This is not really the strongest or most bitter IPA I have ever had, which is why I probably really enjoy this beer. I gotta thank John, from Kokomos Regulars for this treasure! I would definitely get my hands on this if I could!

Purchased in a mixed six pack in Memphis 5.5% abv. No freshness date.

A: Hazy dull orange. One finger of off-white head, good lacing, still has good film halfway through glass.

S: Floral and Citrus with a bready undersmell. Hints of grass

T: Hop bite on the tongue. Dry but not overly so. Taste almost perfectly matches the smell. Citrus, Floral, and Pine resin. Good mouth, a little oily, good carbonation.

This is without a doubt the best balanced IPA I have ever had. Some others are hoppier or stronger, but this melds all the elements of the style in an almost perfect package. I am a fan of the southern craft brewers, but the PNW still seems to be the leader of the craft beer scene.
