Pours a clear light amber with good amount of white head and good retention. Grainy malt with citrus and spicy hops, bit of earthy and dank hop as well. Taste follows with citrus, and spicy hops, bit grassy here. Alcohol isn't hidden very well. Mouthfeel is bitter but still good. Overall a good beer, but needs some fine tuning for sure.

This was brewed for the 2012 National Homebrewers Conference in Seattle (actually Bellevue) Washington. It was brewed by Steve Jayich of the Great Northern Brewers Club and Alaskan Brewing.
A- Clumpy sticky lacing, for this solid amber colored brew. Very clear through the glass.
S- Spicy, citrus, and earthy hop aroma. The malt character smells a bit on the scone side of things.
T- The hops lend a dried orange peel flavor to the beer. There is a spicy quality to the flavor as well. The finish leaves a very dry citrus feel with slight puckering on the tongue. The malts are there, but hey this is an IPA so the hops are the star.
M- This has a nice feel in the mouth. Something that has good weight on the tongue, and the carbonation to help bring things along. IPA's IMO should have some body to them.
O- I like this beer, it is a solid beer, easy to drink and I wish I had scored a few extra bottles as I had the chance.
