Notes:
Alaskan White Ale has a soft, slightly sweet base with the unique spice aroma of coriander and crisp, citrus finish of orange peel. A light and effervescent body combined with the smooth palate creates a complex and delicate beer that is deliciously refreshing in any season.

On tap at the EOU Faculty Lounge, served in chilled :) shaker pint, 1/19/10.
Light golden body, a bit of chill haze, cleared up for the most part as it warmed. 1 finger white head, medium dissipation, with nice lacing. The nose is citrusy, the orange peel with a bit of lemon (Meyer lemon?) some spice notes, coriander with a bit of white pepper. The taste is, unfortunately, off, citrus prominent but overwhelmed by coriander, worse yet is this aggressive banana taste-is this a bad keg, big diacytel hit-ugh. A bit of hoppiness on the back end. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth. This would certainly be tres drinkable on a hot summer day, wonder what this is doing being served in winter time. OK, but not in the league of Allagash or Hoegaarden.

Appearance: light foamy head on the pour which dissipated quickly. Very active carbonation to begin with and was very present throughout. Golden color, more on the yellow side.
Smell: really had to dig to get anything out of it. Some light breads malt. Bananas and some leafy greens. The hop presence was extremely light. The malt is refreshing but I could use more.
Taste: the high carbonation level hits right away. Pale malt with some slightly sour hops hits toward the middle of the beer. Again the banana and leafy flavors pop up. The finish is moderately dry but does not have any potent aftertastes.
Mouthfeel: pretty regular. Nothing really memorable.
Overall: an average beer. The malty accents are probably the highlight. Light and refreshing. Nothing to go out of your way for though

Good pour with out too much head and not much lacing, great looking gold cloudy color is fully backed by this beers taste, light crisp and delish. It has a good clean after taste. I would certainly recommend this wheat style ale.
This was my first review, I apologize for its shittyness.

From 12 oz bottle...poured in Great Lakes tulip glass.
Pours a clear gold with small head and minimal lace.
Aroma of bread dough, coriander, sweet malt.
Significant carbonation and moderate mouthfeel.
Flavors of sweet malts, herbal medley, rosemary water, lemongrass. Overall flavorful with some body and complexity, but light on the overall malts, hops and alcohol. Tasty session or hot day brew.

Alaskan White has a thick, white head (which doesn’t stick around very long), a clear, bubbly, yellow-golden appearance, with a descending light cloud upon swishing and pouring in the bottom bottle contents, and minimal lacing left behind. The aroma is of white wheat bread and sweet grain husks, and the flavor is of sweet, white wheat bread, a touch of lemon, and subtle coriander. Mouthfeel is medium, and Alaskan White finishes mostly dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, this is a good beer, and I mostly enjoyed drinking it (once).

Got in a trade with swingracex. 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 4/12/2013. Pours hazy golden straw color with a 1 finger foamy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace that lingers for a bit. Minimal lacing on the glass. Aromas of pear, coriander, orange peel, wheat, light pepper, light clove, floral, and yeast earthiness. Ok aromas with decent balance and complexity; but there is not much going on here other than the spicing. Taste of pear, coriander, orange peel, wheat, pepper, light clove, floral, and earthy yeast spiciness. Lingering notes of light fruit, coriander, orange peel, wheat, pepper, floral, and earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance of spice/malty flavors, without feeling watery; and no cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a solid witbier. Solid balance of flavors and easy to drink; just really not all that exciting. Enjoyable stuff.
