As a student at Valparaiso University, I've been here several times. Their "Wall of Froth" gimmick is pretty cool and they have quite a selection. However, being a college student, I will say that some of their brews are a bit expensive. I would expect this, since many of them are from exotic locations. What they have on tap isn't incredibly great, but they do have some great deals from time to time. For instance, every Friday is $2 pints of Blue Moon - great beer, great price. The food isn't bad, but again - it seems a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, it's a great atmosphere; it seems to cater more to the "young professional" crowd than it does to the college students, but you do ocassionally see your standard "bros" there every now and then. There has apparently been a recent change in ownership, and some renovations have taken place; there is a lot more space and there are plenty of TVs. However, it doesn't loose its "vibe" and is still far from your run-of-the-mill sports bar (even though they usually show sporting events on the TVs). If you're around town, I'd recommend that you at least check it out.

I've been to Passtimes several times. Their beer selection, while mostly in bottles, is one of the best in the area. Their food is good, but unfortunately their service is consistently poor.
There has been a recent change in ownership. They've done a little bit of remodeling, added a room, and several new televisions. Hopefully this doesn't detract from the atmosphere. They are also in the process of changing the beer menu. I hope to go back in a couple of weeks once the menu is changed, and provided i remember to, I will report back on what has changed.

Went in on a Friday evening with some friends. The beer list was pretty impressive, but that is only the beers in bottles. The tap was very unimpressive. They had Guinness, and four macros. The bottle list was pretty good however, I had an Anchor Steam and a Grant's IPA. One complaint I had was the lack of local beers, there was only one 3 Floyds beer and nothing from Back Road Brewery, both of which are less than half an hour away. The glasses they give you for the beer were a little small, I would have preferred a pint glass, and the first one was frosted, but I think the waitress heard my bitch about that, and brought out an unfrosted glass for beer number two. The food was average, I had french fries and mozarella sticks because the vegetarian menu was non-existent. I asked for a cup of ranch dressing for my french fries, and it took nearly 15 minutes to get it. I would definitely go back again however.

I visited this place on a trip back to my native land of Indiana. Now I would say they have a ok selection of micro and imported, But not as good as they claim. They had a 50 beers from around the world thing, that if you tried all 50 beers (and bought them there) you got your name on the wall. not a bad idea but about 30 of the 50 were Mircos from the great USA. It did have the best selection for the are as far as i found.
