Stopped here on my way back from Wisconsin as it is the closest place (that I know of) that carries Half Acre Daisy Cutter (needed to get some for a trade).
Located in a typical strip mall, you can tell this is an “older” sort of Binny’s. Walking in reaffirms this fact, though it is bright and clean. The beer selection is to your right, and compared to other Binny’s by me it is somewhat lackluster. They have all of your normal beers, and really nothing out of the ordinary or special (besides my being able to get Daisy Cutter).
The service was better than other Binny’s in my experience, granted this was middle of the day on a Thursday and the place was dead. I was immediately approached by an employee who helped me find Daisy Cutter (I walked by it no less than three times and didn’t see it, sigh).
Overall, the selection is decent and the service good. Not a store I’d go to in the future unless I need my fix of Daisy Cutter.

Most people don't know that this is actually the first Binny's location. I live about a mile away, so I shop here regularly.
You can find liquor stores with a wider selection downtown in Chicago, but for the suburbs... This is one of the best places to buy craft beer. The employees are very knowledgable. If you're looking for something and don't see it, just ask. The prices are pretty reasonable too. They don't mark up the rare beer like some other stores that I won't mention...
The store itself is older, but very clean and well kept. It's a standard Binny's location, but I do think that they have one of the friendliest and most knowledgable staff, with a solid craft beer selection.

I thought I'd already reviewe this place, but perhaps not...
Anyway, like many Binnys locations, the beer is on the right when you walk in...
I prefer multiple aisles of beer to one long corridor, but again we see the corridor approach in effect here. Domestic beer lines the wall while imports line the facing shelves-- at least half way before it turns to cider and malternatives. Some endcaps and islands are arranged between the shelves, including one for staff picks-- an idea I really like.
Sadly, this display showed off one of my least favorite aspects of beer buying;
Some one chose Racer 5 IPA as their star selection.
Bombers were $4.99
6 packs were $9.99
The sign showed the price per oz; $.23 vs $.12 per oz.
Why? Why are bombers south more expensive?!!
So... Average selection or a Binnys, though the import selection is distinctly lacking impaired to other shops.
Overall-- it's a Binnys. If you live near here, you shop here. This is not a "destination store" for people traveling... Unless it isn't out of their way at all.

Stopped in here earlier this evening for some locals and a few things that I have no chance of getting in TN...
An amazing selection here... A wall 40 feet long or so of nothing but terrific brews... I picked up some Daisy Cutter, Founders Porter, Alpha King, some Arctic Panzer Wolf, as well as several other selections...
The employees were prompt to ask if I needed help and I had one employee even offer to bring me a chilled sixer of a beer that I picked up off a shelf...
Very good beer store for someone that comes from TN... I was happy and could shop here regularly...

I just moved into the area and this Binny's is only 1 mile away so I've been frequenting it and decided I'd write a review.
The beer section is immediately to the right when you walk in and takes a very good amount of real estate. The entire wall is filled with American craft and then divided into imports. There are also a lot of Midwest and Illinois displays in the middle of the floor with other seasonals as well. The cooler is fill of mini-kegs and everything you can imagine and takes up quite a bit of wall space as well which is nice. I haven't had any problem with service.
Overall this is a nice Binny's to frequent as there aren't very many "clean" liquor stores in the area. I recommend if you are in the area.

Stopped in here after failing to find anything interesting at the international market a few doors down. Headed right for the wall of beer on the right side of the store. The aisle is shorter/smaller than most other Binny's locations, but it's still packed with a pretty nice selection. Glad to see that some Half Acre Ginger Twin was still available. Plenty of European offerings to go with the seeming majority of American crafts. Didn't ask any of the employees for any help or anything, but they seemed cordial enough from a distance. Frankly, this ain't the best Binny's out there, but still a very good beer source in the area.

This Binny's is one of many on Golf road. It is fairly large on the outside but doesn't house the largest selection out there for Binny's
They had alot of new Belgian and Dutch beers that they were really pushing hard, no sales at the time I went.
It only had one row of beers, usually Binny's has 2, but it was alright. It still was a pretty god wall of beer to choose from, lots of Eastern Euros.
The beer guy was friendly and helpful, though I didn't really need him.
There are a few Binny's not too far away form here that I would choose instead

My first Binny's experience. From the other reviews, this is not the best store they have to offer. I specifically wanted to buy Half Acre and Flossmoor. Only one Flossmoor and three Half Acre offerings. I found plenty of other things to purchase however. I bought some Port, The Bruery, Ska, Southampton, etc. The bottles were not coated with dust so I trust that these are fresh. I did not spend much time looking over the imports as it seems we have a better selection in MN. But I did see some interesting specials and container options I have not seen before. One of the staff came over and we chatted a bit. He was friendly and knowledgable of their selection. The checkout guy was a complete imbecile. If this was my local store, I would be satisfied.
(To travelers. If you are westbound on I90/94, you cannot get back on the interstate. A bit of a runaround to get back on your way.)

With Binny's you can rely on a pretty good selection of foreign beers on sale, and a fair collection of craft brews. This also depends on the store.
While the DP Binny's is heavy on wines, the beer selection is pretty consistent and maybe that is a negative, because they are not too keen on new arrivals or changing the variety.
But if you want Belgians, English or German beers, the big wall on the right of the store when you walk in has a massive selction of those.
The refrigerated section carries the usual macros plus a pretty wide variety of chilled 22oz bottles.
They are also good about holding tastings that give a pretty fair representation of the seasonal beer. Plus, the beer staff is pretty reliable and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately it is a little too small, which limits the amount of beer they sell, compared to other Binny's.
