750ml bottle. no freshness or bottled date, but it says batch number D8144.

a- wonderful 2-finger beige head in the chalice on this dark amber orange IPA. looks very delicious.

s- smell of sweet & tart baked apples, grapefruit, pine, spice, caramel malts. a really fruity overall hop smell that I can really get into. nice!

t- Wow! This is different. A strong IPA (not DIPA) that isn't completely in my face with hops! This really tastes a lot like the smell. It's VERY fruity, more towards tart apples than citrus/grapefuit, but there's a little of everything. Really strong brown sugar & caramel character with a little bit of spice & bread. Malt character almost brings to mind some of the maltier Belgian Dubbels. A minor alcohol burn in the finish with some pine/grapefruit and caramel to linger. Really unique. This may be the sweetest IPA I've ever tasted. A very, very delicious non-hop-bomb. I love it.

m- this sort of drinks like a belgian abbey ale. a nice, hearty body. could use maybe a little more carbonation.

this is a beer that's not gonna blow out your taste buds. It's got a really nice sweetness about it bordering on addictive for me, but that's how I often like it. Just a phenomenal unique take on the style by Boulevard. Worth a try--do not come into it expecting a hop bomb! This is something else entirely.
