Top of the evening to ya!!! It's St. Pat's and what a perfect reason to taste the wonderful pot of gold known as Boulevard's Irish Ale! Thsi beer is very good....better than Killians. This beer is a nice clear ruby red with thin white head with slight lacing. The taste is agreat balance of malt and a lil something sweet! The mouthfeel is great and I could session this bad boy!

A-Translucent ruby amber, two finger off white head with some carbonation.

S-Lots of caramel, molasses, earthy notes, grass and dirt.

T-Rather malty, lots of malt actually. Caramel, dirt and other earthy notes. Some roasted malt burnt notes.

M-Lighter, carbonated, smooth but a tad too lite.

O-A decent Irish Red. Usually not a fan of the style but this one was decent.

Reddish-copper body with a thick, persistently sticky head; plenty of lacing rings clinging to the glass. Sweet, almost spicy, malt aromas greet the nose. Rich malt flavors, a bit biscuit-like; somewhat cola-like, combine with a slight astringency and soothing hop bitterness. Effervescent, medium-light body; clean and dry finish.

A very good and interestingly flavored brew.
