12 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Poured half the bottle and got a clear straw yellow color, swirled the bottle and poured the rest.... Now we are a cloudy straw yellow color with a good fingers worth of head that settles to a thin layer with spotty lacing.
S: Lots wheat with a good amount of lemon and yeast.
T: First thing I'm getting is a lot of wheat followed quickly by a tart lemon flavor and a little bready yeast.
M: Mild carbonation, light bodied, very clean and easy to drink.
O: Good ABV, nice flavor, easy to drink wheat beer. Not a bad little beer.

12 oz. bottle, with a best by date of 05/02/2013, so I'm a little late but nothing to cry over. My fourth beer from the Boulevard sampler twelve pack.
Poured into a Firestone Walker pint glass.
A - Pours one finger of fluffy white froth that dies out quickly. Body is a pale cloudy lemon yellow color with plenty of bubbles streaming to the top, and lots of dark and light sediment floating around the glass. Looks pretty nice.
S - Smell is of faint lemon rind & earthy grains / corn. Wheat smell is prominent. Not a powerful aroma, but it tells the tale.
T - Light bodied, crisp, & refreshing. A pretty bland beer with little action happening, but a sufficient thirst quencher with earthy grains & touch of citrus.
M - Feel is smooth, clean, & dry. An easy drinking beer.
Overall, nothing overly complex or amazing, but a nice refreshing beer on a hot summer day. Compared to some of the other beers I've had from the Boulevard variety pack, this is probably their blandest, least interesting beer, yet still highly drinkable with a low 4.40% abv. Definitely a beer you could throw back in the summer months.

Appearance - Pale, cloudy, yellow . . . orange-hued toward bottom of mug. On pour, two-finger head that dissipated very quickly.
Smell - Faint, minimal - hint of yeast in the just-opened bottle
Taste - Bitter beyond the 14 IBU would suggest. Water, orange peel (with pith) . . . metallic(?) finish.
Mouthfeel - Highly carbonated, per the style, light and watery
Overall - Cowtown v. Cowtown: even 550 miles from Kansas City, this is, interestingly, the cheapest non-AAL in a Fort Worth liquor store. (One would think Rahr could slip something competitive in there.) Unfortunately, this is no bargain; disappointing—would not buy again.

A-Cloudy bright pale yellow. Carbonated with a two finger head.
S-Wheat, lemon, citrus, slightly off metallic note, no hops.
T-Some metallic note is still there. Good deal of wheat, citrus, clove and banana, slight grass.
M-Light, watery and not much carbonation.
O-A boring bland beer. Would not consider it a Pale Wheat Ale as it lacks any hop presence.
