This place is HUGE, with over 60 beer cooler doors and at least 15 of them dedicated to local brews. There's also a large selection of imports that are not chilled, but since it's always minimun light and not very warm inside they stay at a good cellaring temp. Wilbur's is trying to get every Colorado beer available, and they're not far off. Jeff is the on-site "beer guy," and he knows just about everything about every beer there. Very approachable guy - don't let the long hair and beard fool you! Every time I've called them with a special question they've returned my call and been able to find what I couldn't. Wilbur's has MOVED, and now they're a mile north from their old location, right next to Whole Foods on College. Nice people, great beer, very cool place to fine what you're looking for - and sometimes what you're NOT looking for!

Re-visited on in July, 2010. I'll just add this: Awesome selection still. Great prices. This is the store to shop at in the Fort Collins/Loveland area.
This is a rather large liquor store located next to Wild Oats; it is easy to see from College Blvd and there is plenty of parking. When I walked in the door I was impressed with its sheer size and its well-organized cleanliness. Most of the store was devoted to wine and liquor, I didn't venture into those sections. On the right hand wall was the beer. Coming from Nebraska I was impressed.
There was many noteworthy domestic offerings, especially from CO breweries: Avery, Great Divide, Left Hand, Odell, Boulder, New Belgium, etc. I found some dandies from DFH, Full Sail, Rogue, North Coast, and Stone. There was plenty others. I liked the fact they had a decent sized singles selection to build your own six-packs. I was able to get samples of some CO beer that I didn't really want to buy a complete six-pack of, like Old Chub, Dale's Pale Ale, and FC Brewery.
The import section was excellent, I didn't really analyze it methodically as I wasn't shopping for those beers but I noticed Rochefort, Thomas Hardy, Unibroue, d'Achouffe, Weihenstephan, and host of others Belgium and UK beers. The selection is great.
Because it was located only a few blocks from my hotel I visited this place three times. Once the service was friendly, once it was fair, and once it was very rude. They hassled me when I bought some Styrofoam coolers and ice to transport the beer I purchased elsewhere (Liquor Max). Why would it matter why I needed the coolers? And why check my ID for ice? Whatever. Regardless of this odd experience I'd return.
