Notes:
THIS ADORATION WINTER STRONG ALE was aged eight months at Ommegang. It went into BUFFALO TRACE BOURBON BARRELS in September 2009 and was bottled in April 2010. Only 200 bottles were created.
Enjoy all the flavor, aroma and spiciness of Adoration, overlaid with notes of oak and bourbon, as well as a hint of vanilla.
Buffalo Trace Distillery is located in Frankfort, Kentucky - the very heart of bourbon country. The distillery has been operating since 1787.

Note's from Captain Lawrence Rosso Batch 3 release / tasting:
Part of the brewery release from the 2010 St Nik xmas event. This was another busted out in the wee hours of the morning. I'm a pretty big fan of Adoration and had been saving this bottle for the right moment and this seemed it. Nice caramel color, no head as expected, bourbon is hot on the nose and on the flavor, which mixes really nice with the adoration spiciness. Very smooth, the buffalo trace barrels really do nice work with this beer. smells hot on the bourbon, taste is solid with a great mix. picture adoration with a strong ping of bourbon. mouth is very smooth. overall this was a great beer and i can't wait to try the others from this release.

@ Busy Bee 4th Anniversary
Dark brown color with no head to speak of. Bourbon aroma, heavy on the oak, with vanilla, booze, spices, and fruity esters. Rich, smooth flavor...vanilla, bourbon, woody dryness, berries, figs, plums, and light cocoa. Increasing festive spices and yeast as it warms up. Gets a little sticky and heavy on the palate after about eight ounces. Fluffy carbonation, medium-full body, and creamy smooth. This is certainly a sipper, but a very nice, special surprise to come across. Happy birthday Busy Bee and thanks for the treat...
