Very easy to find with a google directional map.
The quality of the brews were good. Nice selection of Belgians along with a nice regional variety of micros. Bought my first bottle of Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale, along with Stone Smoked Porter and Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. There was a menacing magnum of Arrogant Bastard with its corked cage locked down with a mini padlock - pretty cool. I did notice a lot of dusty bottles against the wall opposite of the wall coolers looked to be at least a year old.
Most of the prices I surveyed were a smidgen above normal, about $1 more for a 6 pack of Bells for example, but nothing to gripe about. I'd definitely swing through here again when I'm in the area

Joe's Beverage Center in Toledo, OH is the greatest place for beer in Northwest Ohio. I frequently shop there, but have moved out of Toledo a month ago. They have a great selection of beer and fair prices. If I remember correctly, their beer guy is pretty new, but he is highly knowledgeable, friendly, and a beer advocate himself. I have always received amazing service and have been able to purchase beers I am looking for! If you are ever in the area, this place is without a doubt THE PLACE for beer. I am extremely sad I will not be living in Toledo any more.

I always feel like I can count on Joseph's Beverage Center for having a craft-brew that I will enjoy. Very large selection located in the very back of the store. Good selection of Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, Weyerbacher, Yetti, Avery, and you would never guess that they would have these by entering. This kind of uniquenss adds to the confidence that I am going to fill the list that I come in with when I leave. Always plenty of cashiers to take care of your order.

Stopped on a recent business trip.
Beer selection located in the back of the store. Several beers on end caps that you might miss going in, but will catch on your way out. Tremendous selection. Several big bottle selections from Avery, and a nice selection of Weyerbacher, as well as Bells. Saw some Bells I hadn't known to exist. Decent selection of imports and Belgian specialties.
Service was good. Although I didn't seek any help, the staff was available and did ask if they could help.
Prices seemed reasonable, compared to anything I can find in Chicago area, and Avery 750mls were running about $12.99, which sounded good to me, based on my experience with them.
Stop by if you're in the area, you might find a gem or two.

Located in a strip mall across from Westfield Shopping Mall. Party store type of place but with a large selection of wine, top shelf alchohol and spirits, and of course many foreign and domestic craft beer. Many cold beers are available including many macros but also a nice selection of craft brews. Aisles are a bit cramped, but shopping carts are available so you don't have to carry around multiple purchases. The staff is very friendly and knowledeable, and are quick to greet you and ask if you need assistance. The beer selection is very good, although there are a few dusty "slow-movers" on the shelf. Be sure to check your dates. I often come here if I can't find what I want over at the Anderson's, as it is less than a mile away. If Joseph's doesn't have it, they usually have something just as interesting to try, as their selection is a little different. They offer a wide variety of six-packs, bombers, mini-kegs, as well as single bottles.
Overall a fine beer store with great selection, service and especially convenience.

The JBC, this is my weekly Friday afternoon stop to purchase craft beers for the weekend.
The Staff is very knowledgeable and quick witted.
The selection of craft beers is very good and presents the opportunity to buy single 12 oz bottles for sampling. If you browse the selection you will find that the majority of craft beer is of typical price but occationally you come accross some really good deals.
The JBC also has a huge selection of wine and alcohol.
This is an excellent place to go when in the Toledo, ohio area for quality craft brew, wine or alcohol.

I live ten miles away so I go there often. You cannot be there more than five minutes before someone will ask if they can help you. The staff is knowledgeable. The selection is very good. All the standard stuff, great selection of local micro's (Bell's, Goose Island, Hoppin Frog and Thirsty Dog. Extra points for their Alesmith selection. Suprisingly, no Founders. Fairly good selection of singles, although most are bombers. Prices are reasonable for the general area. Location is easily accessable off of I-475 and is only 1/2 mile from another worthwhile beer stop (The Anderson's) on Talmadge Road.

Just went to this place for the first time today. Boy was I impressed. I took my friend and we were both in awe over their large selection of beer. I also like that they had a fairly good selection of singles available. (Anderson's down the street has a lot more singles available though). Anyways, I was greatly impressed, and I drove 30 miles just for this store. The prices were average, nothing seemed too pricey. I will definitely be back! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor by going here.

This is no longer my favorite place to go in Toledo for beer. The selection is great; your typical domestics in coolers all the way down, then you get to some of the better macros; Sam Adams, etc. You'll find Leinenkugel, Bell's, etc. down the left side toward the back and then a whole slew of micros and some more popular stuff like Rogue, Stone, etc. The Anderson's, however, has a much larger selection of bottles to choose from and more breweries represented. S, there a lots of six packs to choose from, but I'm a sucker for the make your own 6 pack. There are several people working at any given time, though you can't always find them and they're usually chatting in the back, and they seem to know exactly how to help and what you need. They are very knowledgeable and can help you with questions about location and beer alike. It's also very well set up, and you can find your beers by geographic location. Still a good place to go, and I can guarantee you'll find something you'll like. You could also find almost everything that's there somewhere else, although they may have the occasional offering you can't find somewhere else.
Update: Lately they've got a lot of old stuff sitting on the shelves. I saw an Oktoberfest that was clearly marked as expiring in January of '09. Now in June, there are also lots of holiday ales clearly marked as expired and some Yulesmith dusty on the bottom shelf. Seems like they need to be rotating more.

When I was at the University of Toledo, I discovered this place my Sr. year.
I was recently in town and decided to check it out again.
There was no Alesmith ( beside Yulesmith ) there, and none of the newer Founders beers I was hoping to find. ( Backwoods and the Imperial Stout )
On the other hand I was able to pick up some of my staples ( Two Hearted, Expedition, Edmund Fitz, Bigfoot ) and was able to get some of the GL Christmas ale. Id imagine those are pretty available everywhere here though.
All and all though I was pretty sad with the selection at the time I was there.
I had purchased Speedway and some New Holland Beers there in the past.
Not worth the hour drive out of my way this time.
