A: Brass coloured with a centimeter head, and a bit of carbonation
S: The aroma is completely hoppy with some citrus residues.
T: A nice kick from the hops with a sweet malty flavour. Hints of citrus in the bitterness. Not super hoppy, but a great malt flavour helps it out. Quite unique and tasty.
M: Creamy with a bit of carbonation
D: Quite.

On-tap at Thirsty Monk, Asheville, NC
A: The beer is clear amber-yellow in color. It poured with a thin white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Faint hints of citrusy hops and sweet malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has initial hints of sweet malts followed by light flavors of orange citrus and piney hops. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems rather sweet for an IPA but still packs in enough hops and bitterness to keep it true to the style.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a Duvel tulip glass. A nice 1/2 inch off-white foamy head formed from a gentle pour. A beautifully mysterious hazy amber color filled the glass. As it receded it left sticky foam about the side of the glass.
First whiff produced sweet ripe tropical fruits and subdued hops taking a backseat to the fruit.
Flavors were consistent with the nose...tropical fruit forward and less pronounced hops than i would have expected. not a defect by any means. In fact, I enjoyed not having my taste buds blown out by a 100 IBU monster. The rich fruit was ever present and well balanced surrounded by the hop frame. Well balanced.
The alcohol was well concealed and integrated as this DIPA coated the mouth with a luscious feel but not cloying either. Not particularly carbonated and provides a lingering finish.
I'd buy this again.
