I stopped by the pub in longmont and was surprised to see this on tap, Left Hand used to bottle this, but I never had it from the bottle. It definitely remained me of fo Germany. It was all there kinda like a sweet-banana-clove like cinnamon roll with ant orange/lemon glaze, and of course that distinct weisse yeast twang. Mild hoppiness/ This is now a seasonal left hand offering.

It's about a medium yellow-gold in color and pretty clear. There may be a touch of haziness but it's not close to cloudy by any means. A small white head grows to just under a finger tall and diminishes in time to a solid foam that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell offers what I expect from a wheat, though rather than being plainly American it seems to have a lot in common with a hefeweizen; that is, the Belgian yeast strain. The nose gives up the banana, clove and bubble gum along with a bit of dustiness I would expect not from a purely American offering but a Belgian.
The taste follows suit but is a little weaker somehow. It seems to fade off at some point. it's also different in that it's fruitier and tangier than the aroma, not letting things mingle nicely but sort of mashing it all together. It's not bad, just unfinished.
I don't expect a big body, but it could have a little more to it. the carbonation's at a good level but the crispness goes spritzy, but it works fairly well and there's a nice smoothness there too.

A- Pours a hazy light golden amber color with a thin white head. Head is gone pretty quick leaving behind only a few bubbles. Very little to no lacing.
S- Wheat, bananas, clove, bubble gum and a touch of spices. A bit of yeast here too.
T- Follows the nose pretty well. Bubble gum and banana are leading the way here. Just a bit of yeast and spice here.
M- Fairly light in body and good amount of carbonation.
O- Pretty solid brew.
