look: 3 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 2.75 | overall: 2.75
Appearance: Poured into a pilsener glass (keeping it fancy). Translucent body with effervescence floating towards a fizzy white one finger head that is quickly dissipating.
Aroma: All adjunct and lager yeast with a hint of dried lemon peel. Decently clean but there isn't anything inviting about the smell.
Taste: Really not much there. Flaked corn and subtle airy/grassy hops. It is aggressive on the palate but that has more to do with CO2 than anything else. The finish is not as crisp as I would have expected. At 4.8% ABV it seems like they could have packed a lot more flavor in here.
Mouthfeel: Immediate carbonation attack on the palate. Light in body with average drinkability.
Final Thoughts: Not sure what the point of this beer is. Schell's makes a decent pilsener and this one has nothing on that. It basically tastes like a lighter version of Grain Belt Premium. Would I drink it again? Doubt it.

A- Clear, fizzy white head, body is a bit darker than your average adjunct. Retention is not terrible for an adjunct.
S- Sweet, a bit of malt. Not that adjuncty really, but there isn't anything interesting, and there's a bit of soap and metal on the nose.
T- Sweet malt, a bit steely really. Pretty sweet but not that bad. Not much to it really.
M- Body is light, but pretty standard. Carbonation is very aggressive, but then goes fizzy.
O- A standard adjunct that would actually not be bad if the carbonation wasn't absurd.

Part of the Schell's mix pack. Poured into a glass.
A: Light yellow color with a moderate white head.
S: Not a whole lot there. A bit more then your usual adjunct though.
T: Strange grain taste at the beginning that goes away quickly but it grows on you after a bit.
M: Typical adjunct. Lots of carbonation and goes down easy when cold.
O: There are worse adjuncts out there. You can actually taste something which is an improvement over similar beers in the style.
