Undated 500 ml bottle served in a pint glass.
Pours medium amber with a creamy and fairly durable head.
Aroma is not appealing and probably reflects a beer not at its prime.
Buttery taste is not too bad but also reflects a beer not at its prime. Lightly spicy with a solid malt base. Mild bitterness by the finsih.
Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle pour at the BevMo Holiday Beerfest held at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and caramel. Taste is much the same with a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is pretty tasty but fairly basic.

Deep golden beer holds a few tiny bubbles. Short oatmeal colored head fades quickly to a ring. Rich malty aroma is a mix of raw grains, caramel, and dough. The aromas carry over into the taste where they're joined by a tangy tea and an almost cocoa flavor. The body is soft and moderately thick...soothing. All in all a really solid beer.
