so, while i was visiting MI from Ct, i kept looking around for somewhere that will split up 6packs of Bell's so I could try them all, and no one will do it. so i am a bit bitter, but this place took the cake. the guy got mad because i had a few Bells singles from a 6pack that someone else had already broken up, dude didnt believe me, but luckily still sold them to me. pretty decent selection, hard to tell for me, as all the local stuff seems so new, they do, however, seem expensive. every bottle seems $2-$3 more than it does elsewhere. but a good selection is still worth patronage, right?

Not a bad stop, by any means... especially for the area.
They have lots of the usual neighborhood brews, and a great selection of imports. I noticed Unibroue, Great Lakes, Bell's, Dark Horse, Arcadia, Stone... nothing crazy, but plenty of choices.
I went in with my girlfriend yesterday, and needless to say, she was rushing me out since I was taking my sweet time. They even had a few singles for a build your own six-pack, but nothing I was about to spend the money on (ie. Wild Blue)
Probably the best store within a few mile radius, but by no means the best store in the SE Michigan area.
Worth a look-see.

B and B is at the northwest corner of 21 Mile and Schoenherr. A bit pricey in my opinion and a little crowded. Selection of beer is decent, but it would be nice to see a little more depth. You usually see one or two selections from the various brewers. They have a decent wine selection (I like wine, but I'm not an expert). Most of their beers are chilled and there are some warm ones around. If you go 2 miles to the north there is a nicer, cleaner and bigger variety of beers from another store (Picolos)....at least that's my opinion.

This is an okay place. It is the place to go to if you're looking for six packs of some Michigan Beer. They had an excellent selection of Arcadia Ales and Bell's. They also had New Holland's Dragon Milk, which i haven't been able to find anywhere else. I will admit, the prices on singles are a little much. They had some beer's I haven't seen anywhere else. Rogue's Imperial Stout for one. Didn't have a price and I wasn't going to ask. I was a little disappointed though, the only Stone Brew. beer they had was the Stone IPA. I expected a little more. They should at least have Stone's Ruination and Arrogant Bastard. Since it's that season, even the Double Bastard.

Okay, so it doesn't have the selection you'll find at Merchant's Warehouse. But if you live up near Utica or Shelby Township, anyplace within 10 minutes that sells Abbaye des Rocs is worth your patronage, right? The usual imports, plus a few unexpected (found the Brouwerij Van Steenberge N.V. mixed six sampler here). A few Michigan brews, and a few national brews, some warm, some cold. Generally, only the larger bottles are sold as singles. Plenty of wine and booze available for one stop shopping.
