On tap at Dive Bar, NYC.
Pours a clear copper color with a modest head that soon dissipates into a thin film.
Fruity and floral hops nose evokes notes of orchard fruit. The malt aroma is bready, toasty and with notes of caramel and toffee.
Taste aligns with the nose, with bready, toasty and caramel malt flavors. Malt flavor is moderately clean and dry, with a touch of sweetness. Mild hops bitterness does enough to balance, while providing a gentle earthy spice, fruity and floral flavors.
Medium bodied with a moderately gentle carbonation. The finish is crisp and dry.
Solid Oktoberfest all around that fits the style.

Good, lumpy head that settles leaving a lumpy ring of lace. Neutral gold color. Crystal clear.
Creamy, caramel aroma. Very accurate for the style. There's a touch of perfume here as well.
The taste mimics the smell--lots of caramel but still dry. Light hop, but it's there. A quintessential Märzen. Full bodied with an average level carbonation. Short creamy aftertaste.

Poured into a mug. Pours golden amber with a tiny white head. Smells of some grain not much else. Tastes of sweet grain nothing really jumps out at you but it is very good. Beer is light bodied and goes down rally fast good carbonation. Overall a very slightly above average beer.

Served on-draught at Birgkerchweih June 2011 into a 1 litre steinkrug. Cost was 7.50 euro per litre. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a 2.5 finger head of no cream, nice thickness, and good retention. I can't see the colour in the stein (I'd take points off for presentation if there was such a category).
Sm: A light aroma of plain barley.
T: Musty, dirty barley and slight amber hops. Not really complex, and not particularly good either. A bit imbalanced. Built to be cheap simple crap - and in that it succeeds. A pretty bad beer that commands high prices at festivals.
Mf: A bit too coarse. Nicely wet but not at all refreshing. Doesn't quite match the taste.
Dr: Highly priced average swill. Fairly drinkable for the style, but far from fantastic. Uninspired and dull.
Low C+

On tap into a 1L stein at my beer garden. For those that prefer a kolsch over a pils this is the fest beer for you. This poured a nice gold color with a medium white head. Aroma is faintly sweet some bread with some grass. Taste is light very mildly sweet with a dry finish. The dry finish I found somewhat unusual in a fest beer but a quality I liked very much making this distinctive and very drinkable.

Poured from the tap at 33 a clear light amber with two fingers of off-white head.
The aroma was sweet malts and herbal notes.
Tasted of Juicyfruit gum with herbal and floral notes. Finished clean.
Moderate body, smooth, with a good carbonation.
A nice Oktoberfest which really hit the spot. Will definitely have this again.

A: On-tap at Novare Res Bier Cafe. Poured with an average-sized, off-white head that had pretty good life to it. Body is completely clear and a dark, amber color.
S: Aroma of moderate malt, with a slight sweetness to it.
T: Nice, sweet flavor, without being cloying. The malt comes through to a point, but it's mostly a sweet, almost fruity flavor. Very smooth and refreshing.
M: Medium-bodied, slightly creamy, with average carbonation.
D: Definitely drinkable... not sure how available this beer is, but I'd get it again if I had the chance. May not be an overly special marzen, but still a good beer nonetheless.

On tap at Max's during their German beer festival.
The beer pours a light amber color with OK head retention and lacing. Don't get a lot on the nose, just some like sweet malt, baked apple and honey. Flavors on the palate replicate the nose, except the flavor profile is a bit lighter then I like to see in a German marzen. The beer is fairly light on the palate, albeit still fairly smooth as well. Drinkability is very good, and would probably get a higher score if this beer had a bit more flavor. A nice enough beer, but there are plenty of better German marzens out there IMHO.
