[Eyes] Clear golden Yellow colour in this beer with a big foamy creamy head.
[Nouse] Aroma Fruity touch and notes of cloves and banana. Light bitter flavour, dry malty, moderately wheaty...
[Mouth] gooood body, dry and bitter-sweet finish with fruity notes.

Dec. 2013: 500 ml swingtop bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Ah - kristallweizen, the style for peple who cannot handle the sight of a cloudy beer. Crystal clear pale golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of banana, cloves in the background. Very refreshing flavour, banana and cloves, but not too sweet. As far as kristallweizens go, this is a fairly decent one.

A: completely filtered body, gold in color, traslucent with very abundant and constant carb, the head is huge and presents a good retention, there is foam stick on the glass, the head is a nice white color
S: the smell is not the best, poor weizen, something like corn and cooked vegetable, some banana
T: medium light body, not so crisp on tongue, the weizen and banana flavours are richer than in the smelll

Wheat beer with a lot of foam and good body, there's a lot of white bread taste; have a very brilliant yellow color, i suppose that because of it "crystal" is called jejeje; pleasant smell of wheat and bread; the flavor is good and very carbonated, with essences of wheat and olive oil, with a citrus end; tasty to accompany hamburgers

Nice surprise to find out this one, even more when I found out that this was the 4th review on the BA database.
Pours a beautiful amber-orange brew, with a white head that leaves some lacing along one of my weizenbier glass.
Smell is, as expected, wheaty, some hints of clover and banana too.
Taste is, once again, wheaty. If I have to put in one word it would be: Refreshing.
Mouthfeel is round: Balanced malts with it's of hops. Nice tangy finish.
Drinkability might be higher if the weather is appropiate. Fall is well established now and Winter is upon my neck of the bushes in Northeast México.
¡Salud!

Got it in MExico, suprisingly, but it was a good news. This is the third Kapuziner I have tried, and althought they are not the best Hefe's they do their job enough to make me want to drink Weizen beers over lagers. The colour is a little lager, but that is why it is a Kristall Weizen. The aroma however is very Wheaty, and the foam is intersting, it has some issues to be handled.

Clear and amazing like a pilsner, with tiny bubles on a thin white head. Peppery wheaty aroma. Doughy wheaty pepper flavor. Simple. Light frizzy body. Some banana. Crystal Weizen are always boring, so no surprise that this does not excite. This is a great beer if on bargain sale but do not search for it.

Comes in a brown tapered half liter bottle with the standard silver and blue Kapuziner label (monk holding Weissbier glass). Purity law applies, of course. Best before 9/10/04, I opened it on 4/18/04.
Poured a clear deep gold with lots of bubbles under a thick contoured two finger head with good retention but not much lace. The nose is spicey banana and clove, with lots of yeast. The mouth is light and prickly. The flavor is a nice combination of yeast, banana and clove. There's a bit of a hoppy bite in the finish, which complements the other flavors quite nicely. The aftertaste is sweet and spicey. This is a good if unspectacular version of the style.
