Central Coast Topless Brew-nette
On tap at the Central Coast Brewery in San Luis Obispo, CA
Appearance: light brown, small head, and some good lacing.
Smell: toasted toffee and caramel mixes with grain.
Taste: toffee, pleasant malts, and a slight chocolate.
Mouthfeel: medium-light.
Overall:
This is a pretty easy to drink brew. Flavors mean very well and give a subtle bouquet.

Bottle I brought to share at Benny’s tasting.
Bottled 6/19/12.
Pours a clear brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, and some slightly nutty aromas. Taste is much the same but pretty watery. There is a mild roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty average beer with some really mild flavors.
