A clear dep amber brew, small bubbles, a small head that leaves little lacing and rather small curtains.
Malty notes, brown bread, some nuts, raisins and a whiff of orange zest.
Starting with the brown bread notes, some porridge taste, then a bitter orange peel with a metallic finish.
Low carbonation, rather smooth texture - a bit flat, a small body and a short dry bitter finish.
Well, it is not worse than expected, but not really something to remember, unless you really need to bring beer in plastic bottles. It is not an American Pale Lager in my book. More a rather well hopped Vienna Lager.

The colour is brown-red (28 EBC), the liquid clear. The finger tick beige head is compact; it sinks to an uneven thin lid leaving almost no lacing.
The smell is sweet a malty with some roasted nutty flavours. Some mild hoppy earthy notes. Fragile bitter flavours.
The taste got initial clean bitter notes. Some very mild sweet flavours, earthy-nutty flavours, some citric hints in the background. Very low body, almost wishy-washy liquid. The aftertaste got a slowly growing bitterness, some ripe red berries, nuts, dry banana-peels and a touch of rye bread. The finish got hints of fried potatoes and bitter herbs.
The carbonation is mild, the small bubbles fresh. The liquid is watery.
This beer totally lacks body, which spoils the flavours that are in there somewhere.

A: Pours pale amber with a small airy tan head that sinks quickly into nice lacings.
S: Toasted bready malt with rich sweetness. Fruity and buttery. Not very American...
T: Sour in an unpleasant way. Bready malt, very sweet. Fruit and butter.
M: Aftertaste is sour and too long. Body is smooth but on the lighter side. Rich carbonation.
O: Well, not this time either. Pistonhead is NOT a high quality brand.
