Cheap Thrills from Spendrups; I hope they've focused on the thrills rather than the cheap, but I'm kind of sceptical...
Well, here we go:
A: Pour is pale golden almost a bit straw-colored. The white head is rather high and a bit creamy. Dissipation takes some time and leaves great lacings.
S: A very mild smell with some sweetness to the malt, but I'm sure there is some corn as well. Some boiled vegetables and a metallic off-smell.
T: Sweet malt but no trace of the corn I susspected in the smell. Some very faint bitter hops. Metallic.
M: Aftertaste is medium-long and has a sour bitterness. Body is medium and carbonation is mild.
O: Brutal Brewing Cheap Thrills? Well the only brutal about this one is the cheapness. Nothing thrilling about this beer.

Just got into Stockholm and unfortunately the only Swedish beers that I was able to grab from the Systembolaget near my hostel was this and the Borebro Bitter.
Anyway, I wasn't expecting much, honestly I liked the can and thought what the hell. It ends up costing maybe a euro.
I wasn't expecting a whole lot but honestly it is a descent little lager. Crisp, clean, nice bitterness and a bit of grains.
The aroma is definitely unappealing, but not that bad.
For the price and the "thrill" it was worth grabbing one.
Hoping to find some more interesting beers at a different Systembolaget that was recommended by a Swedish BA...wish me luck!

The colour is yellow (6 EBC), the liquid is clear. The three finger head is off-white. It leaves thick lacing on the glass.
The light smell got notes of cereals, a somewhat frowsy/stale flavour plus a hint of metal.
The taste is… sweet and frowsy. Notes of old bread and bitter/sour chemicals. Some dry flour-like notes in the aftertaste as well as a slowly growing metallic/chemical bitterness and a malty sourness that makes me think of black beers. The finish is stale with a heavy sweetness.
The carbonation is mild, the bubbles medium sized. The beer becomes flat surprisingly quick. The liquid is light.
Cheap: Yes. Thrilling: No.

Pours pale straw colored, small bubbles raising a white, rather high head, leaving quite some lacing. No curtains.
The smell is weakly cereal, boiled meat and faintly of hay.
Upfront a short saccharine sweetness, some chemical acidity and a short bitter metallic finish.
Medium carbonation, very small bubbles, no body to speak of, some dry residues.
The name is half true, definitely cheap euro lager, but no thrill. Whatsoever. And it feels brutal realizing you spent about a dollar on this.

Very pungent and disappointing smell, just plain bad. Even hints of I daresay, urine. Does not taste a whole lot, possibly more "pleasant" to the mouthbuds than a generic lager.
Appearance is OK; moderately fizzy, a little weak head. Not enough carbonate.
I won't buy this again.
