This beer is only sold in the county of Stockholm. The name is taken from the cooperative Stockholm brewery that Spendrups bought in 1982.
The colour is deep yellow; the surprisingly firm foam is white and two fingers thick.
The smell is very fresh and clean with a sweet touch of malts and some bitter hops.
The carbonation is excellent with lots of small bubbles.
The first taste is one of fresh (and rather mild) malt, balanced by a somewhat dry bitterness with some citric notes. The rather long aftertaste is balanced with some dry hops.
This is a fine pale Euro lager, without the skunky sweetness or metallic notes of cheap hops. Much better than I had expected!
