12oz bottle into NB globe
A - muddy light brown in color. Virtually no head and little. Arbitration. Not particularly visually appealing.
S - traditional spices and aromas but on the mild edge. There is a chemical nature to the aroma though and detracts from the overall nose. It actually reminds me of the smell at a hair salon...not good.
T - Spices are present more here, but fade towards the middle. The chemical aroa translates to the taste too. This is highly distracting. Not a bad beer without the chemicalness, with it it's just not my thing.
M - medium. Actually finishes pretty clean.
O - a pretty average fall spice beer for the most part. Certainly on the low end of the quality spectrum and the chemical hair salon aroma and taste keep it there firmly. Just can get past that. Even without that however, there are loads better fall/pumpkin ales to choose from.

A - Not the prettiest looking ale. Hazelnut brown, hazy with tiny floaties of sediment. Head was a 1/4 inch but pull back to almost nothing. No sticky lace.
S - Very pleasant I love the addition of ginger it makes it smell fresh and crisp. If I were to pick out anything else it would be nutmeg, cinnamon, and some vanilla malt.
T - Very tasty stuff in fact it does taste better than most pumpkin spiced beers I had this year. Zippy fresh ginger, sweet malts, and a constant blended cinnamon/nutmeg combo. Love the addition of honey in small doses it makes for an enjoyable beer.
M - Light to medium. Sweet, spiced, delicious.
Overall recommended and a great pumpkin beer! Hope to see it again in greater quantities next year.

A: Pours a slightly hazy dark copper to light brown in color with some light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall dense off-white head that reduces quickly to a very thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of spices - clove, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger along with some sugary sweetness.
T: Moderate amounts of malts upfront with some sugary sweetness followed by lots of spices - cinnamon, clove, allspice, and ginger. Very little bitterness is present.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin.
O: Enjoyable but perhaps not my favorite fall seasonal beer - gotten from a neighbor during Hurricane Sandy while the power was out. I would have another but probably not go out of my way to find it.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Hazy light brown brew with nice yellowish head, a bit of lace.
Yummy spicy aroma, clove, cinnamon and allspice. Nice balance of maltiness, not sweet, carries the spicy flavor. No real detectable pumpkin for me, which is fine. A nice diversion if you are like spiced beer...fairly well done and drinkable, smooth mouthfeel.

A: cloudy, copper colored with hints of orange around the edges. Off-white head that dissipates quickly but leaves a slight ring to the end.
S: nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel, honey
T: mild pumpkin with pumpkin pie spices... Allspice.
M: finish was smooth and mild. Refreshing good fall beer.

Courtesy of The CPJ!
Pours hazy orange with a thin white head that fades to a very slight haze. Pretty nice pumpkin, cinnamon, and allspice aromas. Fairly authentic, pumpkin-y without smelling like a Yankee Candle. Taste is similar well balanced between the spice and pumpkin, with more cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Very drinkable, not too sweet, and the pumpkin is again pretty nice. Medium-thin bodied, with good carbonation. Pretty nice Pumpkin beer, no issues here.

Appearance: light honey colored.
Smell: Sweet, apple and some spice (nutmeg/cinnamon).
Taste: slightly apple cider, slightly beer. This is definitely a weak Ale. A hint of cinnamon?, but there is also a slight chemical aftertaste. Where are the hop and malt notes? Yeast notes after drinking 4.
Mouthfeel: Thin and very little carbonation.
Overall: A weak example of a pumpkin spice Ale. Not going to buy again. Try something different.

Enjoyed a sample of this beer at the What’s up Chesapeake Beer Madness 2012
A: Poured a dark orange-copper hue with a slight fizzy white head.
S: Lots of spices and pumpkin aroma.
T: Spicy pumpkin flavor – with hints of ginger, nutmeg, coriander, all-spice, and pumpkin spice.
M: Medium body and medium carbonation.
O: Interesting take on a pumpkin beer – not my favorite but worth a try.

Poured a cloudy, dark orange with two fingers of eggshell head. Sweet, grainy aroma with caramel and cinnamon.
Moderate carbonation and a lightish mouthfeel. Bread and pumpkin up front followed some sweet honey and cinnamon/clove on the finish.
Nice enough but not much body behind the spice. The flavors started to develop a slightly artificial taste after a while.

A. Pours a very cloudy light copper color, pale orange around the edges. Thin, quarter-finger ring of eggshell white head that doesn't quite cover the top of the brew. That ring, however, has solid retention. Lacing is also decent.
S. Not very pumpkiny. Some light allspice and cinnamon, but a very Belgian-like grape and apple skin quality. A lot of spices and sugary qualities on the nose, not much in the way of malt.
T. Ginger and allspice and then the clove takes over and provides a very Saison-like vibe, with lots of banana, pear, and apple notes. Not much in the way of malt or roasted pumpkin to keep this true to style, it's mostly just spices and a yeasty quality. Finish is all cinnamon and ginger. Good amount of residual sugar as well. Not bad.
M. A little thin with very little malt backbone. Not a very savory pumpkin ale, but I applaud its restraint with the spices. Still, it comes off like a weak Belgian Pale.
O. Interesting, if not much more than mediocre. Not sure what exactly the goal was here, but the malt and yeast profile make this very Belgian pale-esque. Spicing is certainly there, but it is refined. Lots of residual sugar and sweetness muddy the water somewhat, however...I get apple and grape rather than squash. Not bad, not very good, though, either. I had Wolaver's before this and they have pretty much the exact same flaws, though this is better.

A: Pours a slightly hazy orange/light brown with a small white head on top, not much retention at all, leaving a very thin cap around the edge. Not much lacing either.
S: Up front there is light pumpkin spice, some cinnamon and cloves but beneath that there a slight chemical aroma, it kind of reminds me of the smell of a brand new tennis ball.
T: Again, some faint pumpkin spice upfront, a little pumpkin pie spice, but then the flavor drops off.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, very dry finish.
O: An average fall beer, probably not something I will seek out again.
