aka Mammoth Golden Trout Pilsner
Golden Trout Pilsner: Crisp and refreshing as a high Sierra stream, High Country Pilsner/ Golden Trout Pilsner combines a light malty body with a floral hop finish. Pilsner malt, Vienna malt, and noble hops make this a beer of exceptional flavor.

Amazing looking and good feel, but just not even on the level of macro pilseners.

Wow. The Bro's straight doing this like a 50/50 bar. Raul ain't pumped, but it's not like he's going to take one bite and throw his Popsicle on the ground for the sun to eat the rest.
Raul drank it and he'd have another; but he won't tap a keg of it for his gramama's birthday.
Peace!

Appearance - Pours a crystal clear golden color with a slight orange tinge. White, half finger head. Sub-par retention. Spotty lacing.
Smell - Aroma consists of grain, with touches of honey, caramel and a floral hop character.
Taste - Moderate notes of grain and honey upfront while hops come across lightly, as floral with a minor grassy bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light to medium in body, with moderate, somewhat lively carbonation. Nice crispness. Goes down easy.
Overall - A fair to good pilsner. Flavors are there, but don't necessarily hit the mark quite where they should. I don't know that I'd buy it again, but I have no problem with drinking this, and on a hot summer day, who knows? Without better options, I'd give this another swing.
