This beer pours a slightly hazy golden color, with a thin white head. The head fades fast, leaving a good lace.

This beer has a mild piney hop aroma. It also has a slight citrusy lemon scent to it. A slight malty sweetness is present as well.

This beer tastes much like it smells. Mild. Some pine and citrus hops. A slight malty caramel flavor is also present.

This beer is crisp and refreshing. It leaves a mild piney aroma. Carbonation is good.

This beer would make a great session beer. It is mild and refreshing. The alcohol contene is low enough to enjoy a few.

Overall: This is a pretty good beer. I picked up a pack while at Yosemite. It is great to be able to get this walking distance from my campsite. I will buy it every time I am in the park.

Appearance- slight haze, light orange-copper hue, minimal head even with vigorous pour, some lacing down the glass

Smell- mild citrus and earthy tones for the hops, sweet maltiness but not too prominent

Taste- hop bitters on the tip and middle tongue, malt flavors are difficult to note and could be more pronounced to balance out the bitterness

Mouthfeel- noticeable hop oils, medium bodied, crisp finish with lingering tinge on the back of the mouth

Overall- A descent IPA I'd take on the trail for a quick refresher, not a super serious sit down and pick out the components brew

Appearance - Pours a hazy golden orange with an off-white, finger width head and fair retention. Lacing is spotty, with little stick.

Smell - Strong, deep caramel notes. Hints of floral hop character.

Taste - Follows the nose. Deep caramel malt character upfront and throughout. Hops are laid back, playing on floral vibes mid-taste, before a mild orange pith bitterness hits in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Light to medium in body with moderate carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy. Quite quaffable.

Overall - A well-balanced IPA. Fits in closer to an APA by today's standards. I love the flavor. These deep caramel brews get me every time. Reminiscent of Mad River Steelhead DIPA, with less hop bite. Definitely a future buy... especially when Red Chair goes out of season!

It poured a half finger of head on a clear, amber colored body.
The aroma is nice with lemon and straw.
The taste is smooth with mild bitterness.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A fine IPA and a really easy drinker, nothing special but good.

Poured from a 12oz can courtesy of blguillen into a Bruery Tulip also courtesy of one Mr. Guillen.

A: Crystal clear amber/orange color. Aggressive slightly tilted pour leads to a thick, frothy white, 1.5 finger head that slowly, incongruously fades leaving a thick slug trail on the sides of the glass and a thick-ish top layer.

S: Fruity hops hit the nose first and are followed by a caramel malt bed. Not an overpowering nose and not all that complex. But solid and inviting.

T: Nice citrus fruit flavors burst through. Not bitter at all. Nice malt backbone supports the orange/grapefruit citrus hops to dance and shine. Nicely balanced.

M: Crisp finish, medium body. Again, not bitter at all which is a nice change of pace in the IPA war of who can pucker your face worse.

O: Highly drinkable, highly sessionable IPA from Mammoth Brewing. This is an IPA that excellent in its simplicity and it's stellar balance.

A- Golden amber color with some haziness. Not much head but decent lacing on the glass.

S- Got a whiff of citrusy hops early on but as time goes on what seems to dominate is a dusty raw grain aroma with an odd peanut scent in the back.

T- Hop bitterness is overwhelmed by the grainy sweetness that is somewhat floral in the finish.

M- Medium body and appropriate carbonation for the style.

O- That strange raw grain thing leaves me with the impression that this is an average IPA. Nothing that I can't drink but not a favorite either.

Chilled 12 oz. can into a shaker pint. No discernible canning date.

Look- This can has something I've only ever seen before on a questionable lager known as "Mountain Brew Beer Ice." Namely, a number of square pictograms depicting the various sporty activities one might engage in while enjoying a Mountain... I mean Epic IPA.

As for the beer itself, it pours a clear light amber with a sudsy eggshell cap. Decent retention, not much lace.

Smell- Nutty, earthy, musky, light resin. A bit powdery. Agitation brings out some lemon.

Taste- Follows the nose. Very interesting nutty, almost mealy flavor dominates. Buttery? not quite, it's more of a nutty, oily feel than diacetyl usually produces. I'd almost say it's haylike, but it's definitely a green, fresh cut light sun-roasted flavor, and not oxidization. Perhaps roasted sunflower seeds are a good description. Mild sweetness. Finishes with an oily, roasty, peanut butter flavor. Not quite sure what to make of it. Light, brisk hopping is present but certainly not dominant, something like dusky nugget. Lingering taste of baked milled oats and basil.

Mouthfeel- Medium body, carbonation comes out on the sip, fairly crisp. Dry finish, a bit oily.

Overall- Epic? Not sure. A very different take on an AIPA, I can't decide if it's revolutionary or weird. Whatever it is, it's not something I've encountered before. Certainly worth trying.
