This fruited white ale uses tart, fresh raspberries and a clean hop profile to balance the sweet and spicy orange peel and coriander aromas. Don’t be afraid of the pink hue, it will bring you good luck if you dare to practice Crimson Voodoo.

A refreshing drink for a hot summer outing. A little tart and fruity... a wine cooler for beer drinkers.

Pours a very effervescent amber/orange/pink with way too much head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Grassy & some berries
T: Grassy, a little orange & raspberry up front. Lime, raspberry & grassiness as this warms. Finishes dry with lime & raspberry
MF: Light/medium body, very firm carbonation, becomes a little thin in body as it warms
Drinks alright, but no compelling flavor & not true to the style

Crimson Voodoo has a thick, white head, a hazy, pink-red appearance, and minimal glass lacing. The aroma is of pungent, funky white wheat, with raspberry hints. No bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium & fluffy, and it finishes medium dry.

CAN included in the 2020 variety 12-pack box (which runs $16.29 USD plus tax in New Orleans, LA).
5.2% ABV. "Raspberry White Ale." "White ale with raspberries added."
Tastes a bit like a Boston Beer Co. take on the premise would, which is to say it's underwhelming. The kind of fare that would exceed expectations if Blue Moon put it out as a seasonal sixer for $7.99...by no means bad - and certainly drinkable - but not a success at realizing the potential of the premise to the fullest.
The raspberry is underwhelming and there isn't really a Belgian spice/coriander element to its yeast profile, nor is it true to witbier tradition. More an American blonde ale that happened to have some wheat in its malt bill and was fruited in half-assed fashion. We've all had worse, but Celis just one state over makes better fruited white ales and Hitachino Nest distributes to Louisiana....why buy this?

Attractive ruby crimson color doesn't yield any head beyond 1/12" . Aroma was malt, grains, sweetness.
Taste was a hot rubbing alcohol experience over some brown and red malts. Thin. Bitter, copper penny mouthfeel.
Good artwork, below average beer lacking in every department but water.
