Reviewed 2/10/2009 (bottle):
Pours a very clear, very pale yellow colored body, with a smallish creamy white head that's diminishing. Has a banana malty aroma. Grainy, and light smelling. Almost effervescent. Watery taste, grainy. Maybe corn. Light taste.

Hoo boy. This might be the worst beer I've yet had.
Typical golden adjunct lager appearance; smelled like simple syrup with some artificial fruit juice notes.
Tasted like Welch's white grape juice that had spoiled. So vinously sweet; no hops to speak of. Cloyingly syrupy mouthfeel. Boo.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped 13-159-08. Sampled on January 22, 2013.
It pours a golden yellow color with no head and zero lacing. It looks kind of flat because of that.
The aroma really smells like a locally brewed adjunct with barley malts, grains, and a light hop note thrown in.
The body was light to medium but quite creamy in texture.
The taste is full of grainy malts but a slight hop bite at the end that balances it out pretty well. It fits the adjunct lager bill and is slightly better than some.

Clear golden, with a fizzy white head. Lace is thin and weak.
Aroma is malty, grainy, and lager-like. Very average.
Tastes sweet -- very much like a thin adjunct character. As with other beers brewed by Minhas (as this apparently was contracted brewed by), this one's an unbalanced mess that lacks complexity and wallops the taste buds with heavy, syrupy sweet malts. Ugh.
As near to a drainpour as I've had in some time.
