On tap in a pint glass at the Sacramento location on 3/8/11

Dense, really cloudy orange color. Poured a wispy head. Thin collar retention; no lace.

The aroma is simple. Lots of wheat. Toasted wheat. Wheat, wheat, wheat? Yeppers. A touch earthy and almost musty with a hoppy notion.

No surprise, wheat is the defining flavor. Regardless, there is an unabashed hoppy kick that is manifest throughout. Toasted grains. Not at all sweet. Rather, it's quite dry and pointed.

Somewhat heavy for the style, but medium body overall. Very prickly carbonation; it's too much. Toasted wheat finish.

Not too shabby. Aside from the carbonation, it's enjoyable.
