A: pours light orange with some haze and a couple fingers of fluffy white head that does not stick around for very long.
S: Smells strongly of apricot and a bit of pale malt aroma
T: taste is dominated by the flavor of sun dried apricots and the flavor continues through the aftertaste, a little must flavor comes through in the aftertaste as well.
M: surprisingly syrupy for a light colored beer with soft carbonation
O: a little too fruity and one sided, a good beer for people who don't like the taste of malt and hops though

Bottle at Red's 495 Grill (Carson City, NV):

Into a pint glass:

A: orange yet slightly yellow colored body with a film of white fizzy head, no lacing, some carbonation is seen rising

S: apricot up front with a fair amount of wheat backing it up in a sweet way

T: sweet yet balanced by the wheat, no aftertaste, dry finish

M: light, sessionable, carbonation seems a bit harsher than most "fruit/vegetable" beers I've had

O: it has some nice refreshing aspects to it to make it enjoyable this time of year, not bad for a fruity beer, I just might have this one again if I see it

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – Pours a hazed yellow orange color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades instantly leaving only the tracest level of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell- Huge apricot aroma in this one (as may be expected for an apricot ale). The apricot is rather pleasant and smells quite authentic. While dominating the smell, the apricot is joined by a light aroma of wheat as well.

Taste – The taste begins with a sweet apricot flavor straight up front with some hints of wheat mixed within. The wheat remains light throughout with the apricot growing even stronger and sweeter in flavor as the taste advances to the end. At the very end, a little bit of a peach flavor joins the taste as well, with the mix of apricot, peach and wheat leaving a sweet but smoother taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather low. A bit more carbonation may have suited the beer’s sweeter fruit flavors slightly better, but overall the feel was fine.

Overall – This is a brew big on apricot flavor with much less of else taking away from its center stage presence. Rather tasty and refreshing and a good go to if you feel like something apricot or fruity. Not bad.
