A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, consistently leaving a thin head covering the surface and a coating of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of apples and bits of sweet malts are present in the smell.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and also has some hints of corn and bits of sweetness. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, smooth and rather clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite drinkable but is lacking when it comes to the aroma and flavor department.

The pour is straw colored with a good amount of carbonation. The taste is grains with a hint of golden apple near the finish. There is no date on the bottle btw. I might be drinking a different Zhiguljovskoje beer because the language on the bottle label is hard for me to comprehend. Cheers! B-

500 ml bottle. Pours pale straw with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops and pale malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Pale malt, perfume and some hops combine on the palate. Finish is short, barely noticeable. Definitely old bottle.

I purchased a bottle of Zhiguljovskoje for $2.79 USD in Glendale,CA/USA.
Look: Zhiguljovskoje has a tan foam with a visual consistency similar to the meringue of a pie.
Smell: Zhiguljovskoje has an aroma of both minerals and musk.
Taste: Zhiguljovskoje has a bittersweet taste mixed with a high flavour of earth minerals.
Feel: Zhiguljovskoje has a medium amount of carbonation.
Overall: People who are willing to drink any beer would probably be willing to drink Zhiguljovskoje!

I'm giving Russia's Baltika Breweries another chance to redeem itself from a series of disappointing and under-average beers . . .
OK: Poured from my 12 fl oz (355 ml) bottle into a tulip glass.
Nose is somewhat light, a bit of dandelion but with has that cheap mass grain production, I can smell the alcohol something sweet like corn syrup (Uh oh, not good . . .).
The pour is clear, slightly dark golden hue (my first thought: Urine): Head starts of well, about an inch high, but vanishes after 35 seconds. From the glass, very light nose, just the alcohol and that sweet com something . . .
Taste is weak, no floral, no hop notes, no style, bland, watery: And a bit on the stale side. On second taste: No . . . DEFINITELY stale. And leaves a waxy, kinda sticky film on the tongue and back of the throat. This is not good at all: I don't even know if I can finish this glass, let alone the bottle.
Real Russian piss water. Look, there are many good and decent cheap beers out there - But this most certainly isn't one of them. I should have known better when I saw the the picture below of this alleged "beer"with a blue plastic soda bottle screw cap on it. Bottom Line: one of the worst beers I've ever drank. A travesty. I want my money back. And my taste buds too.
