Bottle shared by mixylplik3, thanks for the opportunity Matt!
Pours a lightly hazy medium golden color with a huge beige head that persists forever. Aromas of citrus clove and pepper with a hint of honey like sweet maltiness. The flavor is a sweet malty concoction with a fair amount of clove and pepper with bits of orange and light tart citrus rounding it out. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a sweet light phenolic mouthfeel. Nice beer, not really my favorite style, but better than some others I've tried.

12. oz bottle was poured into a snifter.
Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin later. It is s pale orange color with clarity and bubbles coming up through the glass. Nice lacing on the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Slightly sweet and bready malts, tangerine, and spice.
Taste: Hops are a bit more noticeable in the taste. Tart lemon flavor and lingering bitterness like the style traditionally should be.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium bodied, medium carbonation, a little chewy, and tingly bitterness.
Overall: I scored this bottle from a friend when I was up in Maine a few weeks ago. Never seen it before and only sold through the brewery store from what I was told. Cool stuff.

Thank to Tim for sharing. Poured into a Kate the Great tulip, reviewed from notes.
A - Poured a straw hue with a light fizzy head that fades relatively quickly.
S - Light funk and just a flash of rubbery yeast. Good grassy, floral hops and light lemons.
T - Hoppy quafable beer here. Faint bready yeasty malts with european grassy floral hops. Light bitterness.
M - Drinkable, lightly carbed. Stuff goes down incredibly easy.
O - Overall this was a very tasty beer. super drinkable, crisp, definitely lives up to its name of being a house beer/table beer. Well done.

Allagash House Beer
1/26/13
12oz, no date/code.
Cloudy, glowing orange. Fluffy white head retains at a finger. (3.5)
Aroma is yeasty, earthy and a touch spicy. More hops would be nice, seeing as the yeast character is not particularly pleasing. (3)
Dry and pretty bitter. Spicy, peppery and decidedly phenolic. Basically follows the aroma with a touch more complexity. Bread, hay, straw, wood, leaf. Slightest bit of lemon. Clean, no esters. Rindy bitterness really builds up on the palate. Medium carb, semi-watery feel, refreshing. (3.5, 3.5)
A decent Belgian pale. I like the dryness, but I really think it could use some more fruit character and hops. I don't think the Allagash White yeast strain carries over particularly well to this style, though it's still a nice beer. (3.5)

Thanks fuj for this comped bottle
The beer pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin halo of a white head (no lacing). The nose is very bready with a potent punch of yeast and grain. There is an underlying sweetness reminiscent of buckwheat honey and white rice with butter. The taste is quite bready as well with a sweet, honey-like richness. Its flavor lingers and is quite distinct, but I can see it pairing easily with a myriad of dinner spreads. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, sweet, bready, and finishes softly bitter and semi-dry. This beer is exactly what I envision in a house beer and gives stillwater's table beer a run for its money.

Pours a golden color with a good sized white fluffy head, fades at a slow rate, surprisingly clear.
Smell has a good deal of lemon zest, hop presence is a bit stronger for Allagash but nice and unexpected, grassy and floral, sweet malt backing smooths things out.
Taste is crisp and refreshing, light fruit presence such as lemon, grassy hops follow and stick around for just long enough to impart a nice bitterness, finishes dry, not overly sweet or malty but a great balance throughout, very easy drinking.

Thanks to fujii13
Light fizzy head, golden yellow hazy color.
Nose fresh hops, grassy floral earthy Euro hops, outfit grassy lemony, nice Belgian light yeast juicy fruity aromas.
Taste similar, light bready malts and yeast, Belgian yeast character, nice Euro grassy hops, blond golden like Belgian, decent bitterness, light straw, etc.
Mouth is med bodied, nice carb.
Overall quite nice, drinkable, dry, crisp, nice combination of Belgian yeast and hops. A well done belgian pale, off what Allagash usually does, but they got another winner.
