Appearance: Pours a murky, reddish-amber body with a light tan-colored head.

Smell: Sweet-smelling, malty aroma of toffee and light brown sugar with a full fruity plum and apricot bent to it. Some faint spicy hop notes can be detected beyond the haze of malt and fruit.

Taste: FOUR is a substantially malty brew, with flavors of toasted toffee and caramel expanded upon with notes of cinnamon, grass, figs, and brandy. Semi-dry finish with some alcohol showing at the tail end. Even with the purported use of four varieties of hops, I didn't really ascertain any bitterness (not that I mind).

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with a slight stickiness to the texture. Mild carbonation. Some alcohol warmth throughout.

Drinkability: At any rate, it's another pleasant, likeable release from Allagash that should be drank accordingly.
