Notes:
Lots of hops with a nice malty backbone on this one. It is released twice yearly; once in the Summer and once in the late Fall / early Winter. Winter bottles have green & red ink, Summer is blue & red. There is a variation in the malt bill for each version.

A: Very clear light golden color with a half finger of head
S: Light on smell. Hops are there but grapefruit aromas are faint.
T: Some strong citrus hops. Good astrigency. Some good caramely backbone. Does not taste light 8%, not by a long shot.
M: Just the right amount of carb. A little lighter than any DIPA I've drank.
O: A very enjoyable DIPA. Refreshing but in the end it pointed out that DIPAs typically have that richer/thicker feel along with complexity that make it a step above IPAs. This one doesn't do that for me.
