On tap at Blue Palm's 3rd Anniversary.
A: Void black, seriously octopus ink in a glass. Deep manzanita stained brown bubbles. Monster thick brownie lacing and retention in the glass, this thing does not want to let go of the walls.
S: Delicious burnt caramels. Crusty creme brulee scorched sugars that sit atop moist brownie cakes. Sweet almost red bean like dessert notes. Swirling chestnut/hazelnut smokes. Fresh out the oven speedway with garnishes of barrel aging, excellent nose.
T: Deep creamy coffee served in an oak trunk. Mellow melted chocolate and marshmallow milkshake with swirls of richer syrups. An amazing Pistachio slight salt flavor that makes this unreal yummy. This really exhibits the flavors of Barrel-Aged Speedway super well without requiring the 100% ultra creamy textures.
M: Full-body with a thick creaminess, almost butter milk thickness. Buttery on the tongue with a chocolate mousse feel. Creamy and full with marshamallow cream softness to make it a pillow of a mouth. I could sleep soundly on this mouth.
O: This beer is a sound middle ground between BA and reg speedway. Delicious, but obviously not as creamy or as bourbon complex as full BA. This has a tad more astringency, but not overly so. If regular speedway stout is coffee, and BA is whip chocolate mousse -- then this beer finds its place as a hot coffee chocolate with bourbon chocolate shavings, and marshmallow cream. Also, there would be a design of an anvil in the white creamy top, just like in the fancy coffee shops. You know what I mean.

Super black pour, thin brown head on it, like the darkest black you could imagine. Aroma was heavenly, equal parts coffee and bourbon. What a mix tape.
Taste was a thick, almost syrup like consistency that really coated the mouth like it was 20w-50 or something. You really get oak and vanilla helping out the bourbon, coffee, and chocolate all in the right proportions to be super hearty but not weighing down.
This is just amazing stuff.
