This poured to a dark near-black color with a bit of orange and red. The head is small but leaving some nice lace.

The smell is strong and very good. Plenty of dark malt, some subtle dark fruits, and smoke are all present. The taste is also strong and has a ton of different flavors. It starts off with dark malt and a bit of toffee, and finishes with smoke. Hops and alcohol are both present but do not take over. The mouthfeel is full and drinkability is good.
