Served cold, from bottle in pint glass.
Appearance: Goldish, apricot colored. Poured a nice but quickly subsiding head. Quite a bit of sediment in this beer. I know its quite a bit more than usual, so this might be an old bottle. Its a bit disconcerting. I'll see how it tastes.
Smell: Smells really good. Nice citrusy hops, a little sweet malt. Pretty much what I expect for an APA.
Taste: Here goes.. Citrusy hops mainly, nicely balanced. It just doesnt taste quite right though. I think it could be psychological due to the floaties. Why dont they put a best by date on the bottles if they have a space for it? No off flavors at all, but I'll have to try another one.
Mouthfeel: Good clean mouthfeel. Refreshing, kinda thin, but I think thats fine for this style.
Drinkability: Very highly drinkable. Well, it usually it, but I'm just a little turned off by all the sediment. This beer is usually one of my staples, and is almost always on hand.
