look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5
Pours a fizzy foamy head fades at a decent rate with soapy lacing, mostly clear nectar orange color.
Nose fresh hops, light grassy leafy hops, little spicy earthy, faint pine, a bit floral, just a touch of malty grain underneath.
Taste starts with some bitter hops, little spicy and faint earthy, again leafy and grassy but then starts to get fairly spicy and very bitter. Very light malt base that barely exist. since there is no base, the hops go rampant, earthy slightly herbal leafy hops keep getting more and more bitter, long spicy bitter earthy hop finish that borders astringent, feels like I have a mouthful of pellet hops.
Mouth is med bodied, decent carb.
Overall not bad but hops get a bit too crazy as it's pretty much just bitterness after a while, with little actual hop character. A bit more malt to balance would have been nice, or more hop character later on the boil rather than mostly bitterness.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a 14 oz "pint" glass. Pours a cloudy yellowsh straw with a small white head. Smells of flowery hops with slight piney tones. Tastes of earthy hops, water, and some grain, little bit strange. Beer is a little heavy on the carbonation, but still for its light body is very drinkable. Overall, a very good beer.

APPEARANCE: The Last Chance pours a bright, opaque orange. The head is small, but the bubbles are very small and well organized – very nice look. The head dissolves fairly quickly into a thin cap. The lacing is absolutely gorgeous, covering about 60% of the back of the glass.
SMELL: Pleasant aroma of citrus, spice and a little fresh cut grass. The citrus leans towards the orange end of the spectrum with a little grapefruit behind it. Would be 4.5 or higher if it were a little stronger.
TASTE: The grass from the nose comes through big time and is backed up by more green in the form of mint. A small wave of bitter grapefruit takes the middle of the sip before menthol crashes over it and takes charge for the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: The tiny bubbles from the head provide a nice tickle to the palate. The body is on the lighter side and it is a very dry beer, leaving the palate thirsty for that next sip.
OVERALL: The minty thing is a little weird at first. I have had plenty of IPAs with a hint of mint, but not this intense. That said, it is a nice combination with the grassy character. I would reach for this beer again.
