A hazy dull orange colored beer with a medium sized bubbly white head off a slow pour that dissapates pretty quickly down to a patchy sheet. The smell is light and aromatic, characterized by fresh orange peel and belgian candi sugar with an underlying light malt aroma. It definitely has a refreshing quality to the smell, very pleasant.

There is a dry fruitiness in the beginning that moves into a prickly zesty orange rind or possibly lemon rind taste with a bite in the back end of it. The bite isn't quite sour, but it does have a certain grapefruity dryness to the back. These hops complement the lightly toasted malt taste very well, both facets of the profile balancing each other out equally. The mouthfeel is refreshing in its dryness, not puckering, but very effervescent in its carbonation, leading to a long dry finish.

Nothing incredibly exciting with this beer, but it is a solid and very drinkable Belgian pale. Very enjoyable on a warm spring day, definitely recommended.

A: Amber-orange with small amount of head that dissipated quickly into a ring of bubbles.

S: Yeasty with hint of nutmeg or clove.

T: Sweet and yeasty, bitter nutmeg aftertaste.

M: Full-bodied, moderately carbonated.

O: Pleasant, aromatic Belgian pale ale with prominent yeast flavor. Somewhat displeasing bitter aftertaste.
