I got this fresh from the brewery. I had i years ago and don't remember it being this good.
It pours caramel brown and very cloudy, tan head and lots of lacing.
Heavy weizen-banana smell. Like banana bread.
The banana is not as heavy in the taste, but is there at just the right amount. A sweet maibock taste is the also there.
Creamy feel makes this stuff so easy drinking. Definitely a keeper.

Poured into my GI 312 weizen glass.
A: Poured a hazey iced tea color with some yeast from bottom clouding it. Nice thick tan head of 1 inch resting on top.
S: Aroma is of malts sweet with a hint of banana, breadyslightly spiced.
T: Taste is of sweet malts dark fruit ,bread bananas and clove. Great balance of flavor and the high ABV is not extremely noticable.Brown sugar taste also noticable after glass warms up.
M: Mouthfeel is a on the medium to full bodied with the tiny bubbles just barely hanging in there.
O: Overall a great winter beer for me. I enjoy it as it warms, the flavors start to pop out. Darker fruits that were not in the first sip are starting to crop up after about 10 min. Great beer and will def. drink again.

Pours a murky colored yet clear brown. Thin tan head with quick dissipation. Bubbles flowing up quicker than normal
Aromas of nuetral wood, sweet brown sugar and an alcohol similar to the finish of red wine aroma.
Taste starts very sweet. Brown sugar, Belgian candied sugar. A hint of sweet cherry and bread. There is a mild bitterness to break up the sweetness towards the end, then more syrupy booze and mild bread flavor. Hints of spices at the end
Mouthfeel is medium bodied although the alcohol is present a bit. Low carb and slick and smooth on the tongue.
A bit too sweet on the flavor, but not bad. Light for a dunkel with little wheatiness. Great feel.

A – dark caramel amber with a thin, short, soft, off white head
S – caramel, dark bread, faint spices
T – caramel, toffee, alcohol, faint banana, faint spices, heavy alcohol finish
M – medium bodied, warm, smooth
This isn’t a bad beer at all. It’s complex, malty, well balanced, but just a tad boozy. Despite the warm, intense alcohol finish, the flavor is juicy and malty and the beer still has good drinkability. This is definitely worth a try.

12oz bottle
Served in a weizen glass
A - It is a ruddy brown with amber highlights. An inch of tan head makes a brief appearance.
S - I get a lot of spice with banana and clove being featured.
T - It starts out mild, but the spices overwhelm in the end. I get a little clove and banana, but there are tons of spices.
M - Moderate
O - This beer grew on me the more I drank. I wasn't overly impressed at first, but the spiciness of this beer was impressive.
