On tap at the Weyerbacher feature night at Rattle N Hum. Pint glass.
Pours an unfiltered rusty orange, with a finger of bright white head that fades to a collar and leaves some spotty lace. Nose of some banana (in a wit, right?), some peach and lemon citrus. Taste has even more of this banana, and some light spicing. More of the lemony citrus notes, and some wheat. Mouthfeel was a bit watery, but relatively refreshing. Overall a nice wit, if resemblant of a thin hefe in my eyes. Nice and refreshing, and good for a hotter day.

Cloudy lemon yellow. Rising bubbles are sparse, but still visible in the light. Has a really nice glow to it. The head didn't stick around for long. I have here just a ring with surface glaze.
Lots of coriander and orange peel in the nose. I can pick up mild wheatiness and hints of star anise spice. Not particularly peppery. More orange than lemon. Vibrant yeast characters. Bountiful spice notes. A loud nose for a witbier.
Spicy, but not overly so. In other words, it doesn't reach an offensive magnitude. Star anise, grains of paradise, dried citrus peel, and coriander. Wheaty and tangy with some finishing sweetness. A little too much to finish off with. Lingering, not clean. Some non-citrus fruitiness is present (apricot, white cherry). Spiced like a Christmas beer, drinkable like a summer ale.
Nice and filling for a wit. Big mouthful of soppy medium-bodied liquid. Has that girth that you might not expect. The spiciness adds to the feel, giving it flight. Carbonation is almost medium. Still nice and airy.
A decent wit. Not sure that I recall seeing this before. I may not seek it out again, but, you never know. Maybe I will.

A: Pours a cloudy light straw color with a fluffy white head
S: Some spice, some citrus, some floral qualities, but nothing mindblowing
T: Some spice up front, followed by a mild sweetness and crisp bite of a little citrus, and a slightly jasmine-like finish. Nothing special, but not bad either
O: A nice, easy drinking thirst quencher. Though nothing special, it's an enjoyable brew, and at only 4.5%, you could pound these all day long

Pours light yellow, with a decent amount of head. It actually looks like lemonade with foam. The smell isn't all that impressive either. Smells of spices almost like the merry monk but with a bit of a funk to it. At least the taste is better than the smell but still not all that great. Kind of like a Merry Monk Light. I'm noticing that many of the Weyerbacher Ales taste very similar just different amount of spice in each. Not all that impressed with this and I would not buy again.

Poured into wheat glass.
A - Cloudy pale gold with three fingers of head that fades to a thin cap. No lacing.
S - Biscuit and grassy hop aromas.
T - Fruity tartness, banana, orange peel. Smooth finish.
M - Fizzy, pleasant mouthfeel.
O - Enjoyable warm weather beer.

pours a hazy golden yellow but with no head. Well maybe a small collar.
The aroma is very assertive with spices and corrinder and orange peel. A bit too much for me. Same as in the taste the spices used are way over the top to the point that that is the only thing one tastes.Brewed with wheat malt, you don't even taste that.
A halfway desent beer thoug I probably wouldn't buy it again. Not very balanced.

A: I've poured this into both a tulip and a shaker pint. In both cases it resulted in a thin head that dissipated rather quickly with little to no lacing. It was a pale hazy gold color, meeting my expectations for a Belgian Wit.
S: A nice clean aroma with light hop and malt.
T: I had almost two different taste sensations. My second taste of this beer on a hot day really changed my perception of this beer. The first late night tasting after having some other beers was rather meh but it was just perfect the second time outside on the deck on a hot day.
M: really quite nice with a medium mouthfeel. Went quite well with a turkey sandwich with artichoke spread.
O: Definitely a repeat summer purchase.
