RPA (Rye Pale Ale)
Cameron's Brewing Co.
Cameron’s Rye Pale Ale ABV is one of our most popular seasonal beers. It was originally brewed for the 2011 Bar Volo IPA challenge, earning 2nd Place, by combining the best parts of American and British IPA styles, we achieved a robust and unique staple. This fusion is hazy orange-amber in colour, with a well-constructed white head. It begins with an up front citrus aroma followed by a complex malt body with a hint of peppery rye which releases earthy floral British hop flavour on the finish.
It is made of a combination of seven different floral British and pungent American hops, some which are added in a dry hopping process. This involves adding hops directly to the fermented beer in the fermenter. The hops are well supported by a large malt bill of five character malts with a generous portion of rye which contributes to mouth feel and Cameron’s Rye Pale Ale’s own special character.

RPA (Rye Pale Ale) brewed by Cameron's Brewing Co, with an ABV of 6.60% This Rye Beer pours out of a 12oz glass bottle into a pint beer glass. The color is a deep golden amber color almost copper color. There is a nice amount head an lacing to this brew. The lacing sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with rye an hop bitterness mixed with grains and malts. There is a slight sweetness in the smell as well. So far this is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You frist pick up on a deep rye flavor mixed with hoppy bitterness. Then a nice mix of earthy grains and malts. There is a lot going on in RPA (Rye Pale Ale). The body of this brew is a medium to heavy, but not to heavy. There is nothing overpowering about this brew it has a super nice balance to it. I can't get over how smooth this brew goes down, it is really hard to pick up on the 6.60% ABV in this brew, it is just that smooth. The mouth feel is Bold , Rich, Rye, Hoppy, Clean , Smooth, and Refreshing. Overall I am going to give this brew a solid 4 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Cameron's Brewing Co, did a super nice job with this brew.

Nice surprise, as I like a good rye beer! Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Beautiful thick foamy beige head and nice lacing. Slightly boozey spicy smell. The taste and feel is rich with nice rye spice, a bit of pine, some caramel, and right amount of bitterness. Very nice beer!

On tap. Purs a big creamy head, with medium retention and a ggod lace. Aroma of citrics, almonds, cloves, honey, something I can't tell, it maybe the rye, but I've never smelled rye :-( Medium body, crfeamy palate, strong carbonation. Taste of almonds, citrics, honey, and again that something that I really don't know what it is. good.

Thank you LCBO for discounting beer every blue moon. I was under the impression this was a Rye beer--as in whiskey. Thankfully I was told it was not--what a gem of a beer.
Very light colour-almost no foam on the pour. The 650 ml bottle is a nice touch-almost 2 beer for a good price. The taste was very pure-no aftertaste. Clean with a bit of a hop kick. Not too strong but very refreshing. Would recommend for those who would like to try a hoppier beer but not one that kicks your ass.
