Golden yellow appearance and minimal head but with some lace. Smell is sweet with malty hops.
Taste is slightly sweet with a hint of corn and cooked vegetable, nothing powerfull though. Does have a clean refreshing taste. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is bitter with a lingering maltiness.
Overall, a fairly light beer, but inoffensive and enjoyable. I can see this as a good patio beer. Worth a try.

This is a fairly nice, clean pale ale (lager) with a nice golden hue.
This beer does not have a substantial head, nor does it have an exceptional odour, but what this beer does have is a nice clean crisp fresh taste. It is mildly bitter with minimal malty flavours present.
I would find this to be a pleasent beer to enjoy on a warm summer day (if those actually occur in alberta...) and the nice mild flavours in the light lager style makes for a refreshing drink.

Contract brewed exclusively for the Original Joe's restaurant chain.
This beer appears a clear medium golden colour, with one finger of dense soapy white head, which leaves a low mountain range profile of lace around the glass as it duly settles. It smells of faint pale malt, and weedy hops. The taste is sweet grainy, sourdough-like malt, and more understated grassy, weedy hops. The carbonation is moderate, the body light, but not thin, and a little prickly. It finishes fairly dry, an herbal bitterness lingering.
For a mid-afternoon, beat the rush pint, this was agreeable enough, though a bit more crispness wouldn't have hurt. Dumbed down less than usual.
