This place is seriously amazing. Right on the water in Redondo beach, seriously a few steps and you are right in the water. Great beer selection, plenty of places to sit, great staff, awesome grub. The scene is always going, doesn't matter if it's 11:30pm Sunday night, there is at least 20 people there. Always treated like family, no one rolls their eyes if you want to try before you buy. NFL Sunday ticket, great bands a place to sit and smoke right outside. It's like home, only you never have to clean up and the selection of beers and specialty beers you only have in your dreams. Love this place. I honestly don't think I could live without it and I only have been going here for a little more than a year. Thank you Jesus for Naja's place!

Stopped in here on Tuesday afternoon (10-26-10). I had planned on staying for a couple of pints, but I spent too much time wandering around the Redondo Pier in search of Naja's. Oh well.

Naja's Place has a great location, and they take full advantage of it too! The front wall does little more than define the boundary between bar and boardwalk; it's very open and airy. Having the boardwalk right there provides for some nice people-watching opportunities too. For those that don't want to gaze outside, Naja's has plenty of flat-screen TVs, as well as hundreds of past tap handles hanging from the ceiling.

The tap list is huge! A good 80 or so offerings, all of them quality selections. While the focus was hoppier ales, Naja's offered a good selection of beer styles as well. There were also a good amount of rare, small-batch, beers, such as Double Dry Hopped Stone IPA, DDH 14th Anniversary Emperial IPA, DDH Ruination, Lagunitas Ryan's Folly, etc. I was impressed. The bottle list is supposedly very good, too.

The prices were higher than I expected, and the service was meh. I ended up paying $8 for my pint of DDH Stone IPA, and tipped the guy at the counter a $1 for handing it to me (I feel like a tip isn't necessary when the only service they provide is filling the glass, but I still do it anyway). When asked if they had anything new or special on tap, he pointed to the board without saying a word. Thanks. Even though it was incredibly slow on Tuesday afternoon, nobody ever came by my table. I think that's just how they do it at Naja's though: if you want something, go to the counter.

If I lived near here and had a bit more expendable income, I'd be a regular. This is an awesome beer bar! Check it out if you're in the area.

Has a typical Beach atmosphere here..right off the boardwalk with a nice view of the boats in the marina or pedestrians if you'd like to people watch. It's a bit run down and somewhat rustic. More of a dive beer bar than an upscale spot. 10 flat screens placed throughout tuned to sports. Bands playing weekends 3PM to 1AM which I did not hang around for, but by 3 PM most of the tables were already taken with a lot of the regulars and locals.

Beers on tap are exceptional and very well priced. Well worth a visit just for the beer selection.

Service mediocre. Get in line and wait to order your bottle or tap. I hope they have waiters during prime time!? But, they know their brews and are willing to give you a small sample taste if needed. I could spend a fair amount of time doing this, but did not want to hold up the people waiting in line behind me.

Beer selection 88 taps is exceptional. Very good brewery selections and wide selection of styles. Bottles available as well if you don't see what you want on tap.

Food menu is 5 or 6 items deep. Basic Hamburgers, hot wings, fries fare and, a bit pricey. $10 for burger and fries? Still, great beer prices balance this out if you choose to eat.

An absolute dive, albeit with the most amazing taplist in the southbay, and maybe all of socal. I think 88 taps. Some are reserved for the bmc crowd, but most are of the craft variety. They feature pretty much all breweries distributed in cali. I know they get PtY when it's available.

Website used to list taps, but it was rarely up to date and more recently they don't even have a tap list up.

They often have special events with beer and glass specials.

Haven't tried the food, but the tap list is reason enough to visit. Only bummer is you have to pay for parking.

This a great little place tucked away in the marina. I feel that since you can't see it from the street that it doesn't get overcrowded. Their beer selection is phenomenal and they are constantly having special nights dedicated to a specific brewery who has provided them with kegs/casks of their flagship beers and their rarities. They even have a facebook page that makes it easier to follow their special nights. You don't have to go to their website to find out, it's already on your newsfeed (sorry to those who don't use facebook).

The food is just your typical bar food appetizers and burgers. On weekends and some nights they have bands come and play cover songs. Granted the stage is small, so it's funny to see a four man band squeeze up there, but they get the job done. There is even a tiny little dance floor. I only have two beefs with the place. Their tables are small, so it's hard if you go with a big group of people, and their bathrooms are small.

Naja's is the only bar my buddies and I go to, and we live in San Pedro...the 20 minute drive is worth it. Naja's looks like a dive bar, but these guys (and the one female bartender) know their beer. They generally have 88 taps going with a good number of consistent beers always on tap. The others get rotated pretty frequently. Their bottle selection is worth checking out as well. Bartenders are great and super knowledgable and more than happy to let you sample something. Prices are reasonable. The food is greasy and good. Just don't go when the band is playing. They have a pretty good jukebox, but sometimes it can get hogged by certain people.

Naja's is also good about holding events. They have frequent keep the glass nights, and reps from lots of breweries are always coming in and handing out samples to patrons. They also hold events like their annual IPA fest. It pays to friend them on facebook!

If you're in the South Bay and love great beer, this is the bar for you. Absolutely essential.

Visited the place regularly. Had a good reggae band on Saturday afternoon's. Plenty of beer selection on tap and in bottle. Plenty of parking, regular crowd, not too rowdy. Food is reasonably priced and is very good. Would recommend to anyone. Has a good rock band on weekend nights. Close to the marina, large selection of IPA's. Goal has been to try every beer on tap but unfortunately haven't been able to do so. Service is sometimes slow, place is small so line to order beer can get kind of crazy, only one pool table but they have added more flat screens for sports enthusiasts

Been to najas a couple times now but went last night and the vibe was really cool with a live rock band covering all kinds of old skool jams. The selection there is quite nice with about a hundred beers on tap and another hundred in bottles. The service was alright due to the amount of people in the place but still managed to get plenty of tasty beer. I also like the fact that they always have pliny the elder on tap. Their buffalo wings and the chicken kabob plates are off the hook and are generous portions for bar food. Great view of the marina and you could definitelty smell the ocean from your seat. Can't say enough about najas and will always frequent this place for sure.

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed Naja's Place yet. I've been there a handful of times while in the area for business. I went there for lunch last Sunday. It was a warm sunny afternoon and the sun poured in through the front of the place (rolling garage style doors). Very casual beach marina vibe, tall tin tables with vintage diner stools amongst surfing decco and literally hundreds of tap handles hanging from the ceiling. The taps list is CRAZY! I started off with the '08 Abyss draft. The place fills up quickly...especially on a sunny weekend..and the band starts playing. Service becomes an issue with the crowd but they work hard. I ordered the chicken version of their Famous Kabob Plate. The "small" version was a TON of food! I really enjoyed it. They also have an AMAZING bottle selection. It was really hard to choose, but i went with a bottle of Bruery's Papier...which i really enjoyed also. Very comfortable place..until the crowd pours in, right on the boardwalk, great view of the marina and the sun with the smell of the ocean in the air...like being on another planet. Great change of pace. Highly recommended!

I swung by this place during a long road trip, 2009.

Place is right on the marina, nice area. It was a bit of a chilly night, I couldn't figure out why they had the doors and windows wide open (its an open air joint). When I realized how packed the place was, I understood.

Huge chalkboard, wide array of quality taps and bottles. The food is a step up from pub fare, and is relatively inexpensive. A band ended up playing and some douche-baggy guy was pretty much break dancing to classic rock covers (he was being serious, too). I was cracking up watching him while enjoying a brew with friends, what could be better?
