English Brown Ale
This ale combines the malty sweetness of an English Nut Brown with the hop character of an American Brown. No need to go downtown when you have midtown.

On tap at the pub, Midtown Brown Ale is brown with a light tan head.
Smell is pretty neutral at first, a light sweetness, with the caramel comes out as it opened up, improving as it warmed.
Taste is a nice, clean brown ale. Hint of toast, some noble hop spice, and a light bitter finish. Not sweet or nutty, made in the Southern English style.
Mouthfeel is crisp, with a medium body.
Drinkability is good. This is an easy drinking, clean, smooth brown ale.

this beer is a classic lblc. little brown love child. imagine a yorkshire ale like sammy smith nut brown or newcastle( or better yet old peculier) has a hot night with a very malty american brown ale like that of sierra nevada. what you get is midtown brown. mellow and smooth with slight yorkshire tones, yet malty in the finish like alot of american made browns ( specifically west coast browns) very drinkable and quite a unique taste. great for some growlers at a football game. with some chocolate. If you stop by, try it with the blackened halibut pizza. I hate fish pizza but this is the best pizza ive ever had in my life.
Serving type: growler
