A solid all-round IPA, excellent lacing and a gorgeous, slightly hazy gold color. The aroma was restrained, but the hops burst through in the flavor, big citrus and pine notes. I am guessing simcoe, columbus, centennial, and maybe amarillo, but I am not sure. It had a pretty typical, but very bright west-coast IPA flavor. The mouthfeel was crisp but also a little creamy, very smooth. The body was a little light. Overall, this is the best IPA I have had from a Montana brewery, granted there are quite a few breweries in this state I have not had the pleasure of coming to know.

Golden color in the glass with a nice head and excellent lacing on the glass. Nose is citrus hops. Tongue is a great well hopped IPA picking up citrus and pine... but lots of hops and in the double IPA territory. Good carbonation on the mouthfeel and lingers well after taste.

Appearance: Standard golden bordering on orange IPA with off white 1 finger head. Modest lacing.

Smell: No real malts to speak of. The hops are bitter centric with citric support.

Taste: This is a bitter IPA with citric notes. I'd say this is closer to orange or maybe even slight hints of pine than anything else. It's good but not epic.

Mouthfeel: Typical and well done.

Drinkability: This is a well done IPA, but nothing to write home about.
