Nice herbal floral scents with a nice bready malt. A floral and herbal taste and bitterness throughout with a nice bready malt sweetness that mixes in with the bitterness really well. I'm also picking up on some green apple.

The bitterness is nice and this seems like session beer and cant even taste the alcohol or even seem like a 7 percent beer wow. Southern Tier keeps impressing me and this is the up and coming biggest brewery to watch out for.

Get this beer if you want a session IPA with a really nice herbal floral bitterness. It doesnt really have citrus or grapefruit in there is very herbal. So if you like that definitely get this beer.

A - clear golden copper, thumb of off white head retained very nicely, some spotty lacing
S - pleasant citrus with mild hints of pine and florals, faint dry grain
T - citrus and dry earthy hops followed by light pine, multigrain savoury malt, finishes with citrus shining through
M - medium body, crisp and clean through the middle with a medium bitter and significant dryness to leave the palate clean
O - a nice hop mix and just in your face enough to make you sit up and take notice, still very drinkable, this is the kind of IPA I would love to have on tap locally
