22 ounce bottle, bottled on 08/26/13. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like pumpkin spices, pumpkin, roasted malt, and some chocolate. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like pumpkin spices, pumpkin, nuts, roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, lactose and a bit of coffee. I think the pumpkin/spice flavors are stronger than the roasty stout ones, but there's enough balance between those flavors that makes this an interesting beer to drink. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and coating with moderate carbonation. I thought this was pretty good, hopefully Southern Tier will make this again next year! $8.99 a bomber.

The beer comes in a dark brown/black with a khaki head.

The aroma is just intoxicating. It's very Pumking and all up in your face. It has this very sweet pumpkin pastry note along with a bit of spice, but really that creamy, buttery breadiness. It has one of the best pumpkin beer aromas.

The flavor follows with a hit of pumpkin pie in the front along with love of cinnamon, clove. It's less pumpkin and more about the buttery crust flavor. The exciting note is that it hits with this a earthy bitterness on the end.

This really is one of the best pumpkin beers around. Get this!

Poured Warlock Pumpkin into a Belgian Tulip.

A - Pours black with just a touch of ruby highlights around the edges.

S - Clove, allspice, nutmeg, light pumpkin.

T - Taste pretty much follows the nose with just a touch of roasted malts in there. It has a touch of bitterness in there mid palate. Not bad.

M - It's closer to a regular stout than a Imperial, but probably a good choice for a pumpkin beer anyway. Medium to high carbonation, medium mouthfeel.

O - A damn good pumpkin beer, maybe the best I've had in awhile. Cheers!
