On-tap at the Porter in Atlanta.
Pours a hazy yellowish-straw color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of pale malts with large amounts of wheat twang. Also present are grassy hops and very slight amounts of sweet pears.
Tastes similar to how it smells although a bit more robust. Equal amounts of pale malt and wheat flavors kick things off. Soft pear flavors join in shortly thereafter before being pushed aside by grassy and slightly earthy hop flavors midway through the sip. The wheat and hop flavors carry through to a crisp and mildly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is also good. I didn't have any problems finishing my glass and could have another.
Overall I wasn't expecting much going into my glass but was pleasantly surprised. A nice, non-invasive beer that goes down easy, especially in the warmer months.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice light yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipates and leaves some light stringy lacing clinging nicely to the glass. The smell was slightly malty with some orange and light flavors of wheat. The taste was kinda sweet with a touch of bitterness coming through. The aftertaste was mainly sweet and it had a quick dry finish. On the palate, it sat mainly light but also displayed a light refreshing quality running about my mouth and tongue. The carbonation was good for the American Pale Wheat Ale style and for me. Overall, I say this is a well worthy APWA to have again.

Not my favorite. Poured flat with very little head, which quickly disappeared. Color was a pale opaque orangish-yellow. No carbonation to speak of. Hint of hops and the slightest touch of lemon. The only thing that I liked about this beer is the fact that I only had one.....
